Emotions and Physical Pain – The Hidden Connection

Written by: Nick Ortner

Nurse-BPOur emotions and pain are deeply connected to our bodies.

So if our emotions play such a huge role, then why are drugs and surgery the typical solutions? Why is it that when you go to see your doctor try to eliminate physical pain in your body that they don’t recommend you take a look at the emotional component?

The simple answer is that most of them, unfortunately, don’t know any better.

But as you’ll see in this gripping video below from our newly released The Tapping Solution for Pain Relief Program, physical pain can be released when the underlying emotional causes are addressed.

In the video, you’ll get to see Bobbie work on seemingly unrelated childhood emotional issues to clear up her physical pain. And you’ll be amazed at how, for the first time in 25 years, she’s able to completely eliminate her knee pain.

If you’re dealing with any kind of physical pain in your body, then make sure to watch this video and most importantly… tap along with it!

You can get the same results even though you weren’t as the event. Simply tap along as if you were sitting in the audience.

I know that this video and the entire The Tapping Solution for Pain Relief Program can change your life. Start with the video below, and then get the program for yourself in the second link.

I TAPPED ALONG AND HEARING THIS WOMAN’S STORY BROUGHT BACK MY OWN EARLY CHILDHOOD YEARS OF DAILY ABUSE. IT HELPED RELEASE SOME OF THE HURT IN ME THAT IS PLAGUING MY LIFE. I DID NOT KNOW WHEN I DECIDED TO WATCH THIS VIDEO WHERE IT WOULD LEAD ME TO. MY THANKS TO HER, AND YOU, NICK, AND ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM.

Hi, Ive been listening to a lot of your material and it is so interesting. I was wondering if you have to have had something really traumatic to tap on to get pain relief. I’ve been trying different ways of doing it and haven’t seen any relief. I’m wondering if its because I can’t seem to relate it to anything really bad in my life. I would love to know your opinion.

    Thanks so much!!

    Shelly

    • Nick Ortner says:

Hi Shelly. Great question. No, it doesn’t have to be something that was really traumatic that happened in your life in order to find relief, however, often times we don’t realize that something that seems minor was emotionally traumatic for us. Was there anything that happened, even just a change in circumstances in your life, that happened right before you remember the pain starting? If you can’t think of anything, you can just focus on the pain and sensations you are feeling in your body and tap on those to see if you can shift some energy and find some relief. If you still feel you aren’t getting anything, you may want to try working one-on-one with a practitioner. First of all I´m so thankful that this video popped into my email today and I took the time to watch it.
Bobbie, you are such a wonderful soul and I feel so happy for you that all your pain went and most important stayed away!!! This is really cool and I want to let you know that I cried with you when you were telling your story. Thanks so much for sharing! This is amazing!
With your story you are not alone. My long story short: PTSD and depression…but working on it to leave that all behind. I experienced horrible pain with my dad as well when I was a child and until 15 years of age, even when I wasn’t born because he was beating up my mum pregnant with me. He was an abusive alcoholic and he always lost his poise to the max. He punched me with everything he could grab, mostly with a wooden stick and I always heard him say that I am not worth living and that we all – his own family – would end up in the gutter if he wasn’t there caring for us. I had knee pain since I was 4 years old as well and I was tapping with you today. I really hope that my knee pain will also disappear! Lots of love and a big hug!
    Also thanks to you, Nick!

Hi Patricia. We are sorry to hear about all that you have been through but we are glad you connected with Bobbie and her story and you are doing some tapping for yourself. We hope you are finding success with your tapping. Whenever someone mentions trauma or abuse, we highly recommend working one-on-one with a practitioner if possible, as they can help you feel safe moving through these memories and removing the negative charge so you can feel better. Reminds me of my fear relationship with my father when I was very young.
I want Bobbie to know that I cried with her and time will tell if my Knee Pain will also disappear?♥

I am a primary school music teacher, and I have had body alignment/pain issues for over 4 years. Tapping has helped me in the past, but I’ve been inconsistent. After watching this beautiful video, I am inspired to re-establish an E.F..T. practice and dig deeper toward the emotional roots of my pain.

    Thank you, Nick.

loved this and could fully relate with my mum when i was younger when she would drink

I have watched this before This time, however I cleared with my dad; I used the tapping, varied words, and actualized coming back into my body from my years of positioning my presence into a ceramic horse’s head on the red frame of a bookcase across the room from where my father was sitting on my bed, as expected each night as I attempted to stay awake by ready powerful horse stories in the sixth/seventh grade. This gift also allowed me to see past the frozen images, come down off the bookcase, tell him to get out of my room, leave me alone, and then break a glass bottle of hard alcohol all over his desk where used to drink behind closed doors and pretend he was doing his reports on a very irritating piece of furniture that his mother had given him–that we all hated. I never knew why and I never knew why I bought him a new fantastic desk with money from my first paycheck on my first job after college. I never knew why he would never use the new desk, not what had me not be able to pay the bill and have to humble myself to ask him to lend me the months to pay for it, as well as the tv I bought for my mom to watch from her bed.
I had no idea of all the ramifications until I began typing these comments and they poured out!
My birthday is in 2 weeks; I am 73 years young and healthy now, mentor others, but didn’t have this completion!! lots of tears and huge gratitude as I finish my PTSD lifelong suffering denied.

I found that session with Bobbie encouraging. My dearest husband died recently and I have been so wrapped in physical pain with my emotional grief. I never experienced pain in my body before apart from the odd headache. I am encouraged and hope to overcome this deep emotional grief.
    Thank you

  11. Debby Baker says:

Omg, that was awesome. I sobbed right along with Bobbie even though my situation was deeply buried (30yr) sexual abuse by my father. It the borrowed benefits that I felt for her AND me.

I Thank you and Jessica for so much!!

    Lots of love and light..

Starting a program with an injured athlete – I am confident this will be the solution to her pain which has been diagnosed as complex regional pain syndrome, which she has lived with for many years and for which she has received professional therapy for the last three years with no results to speak of.
I will post as soon as the results are obtained

Amazing video with Bobbie. Thank you for sharing. I’ve been watching Nicks videos on YouTube and last night I finally shared the interview Nick did with Dyer with my husband. After watching we had a very moving conversation. Thank you!

Your video of Bobbie was so uplifting and encouraging for me. Thank you very much Nick
Ortner for giving this free; I don’t have money right now to pay and I really thank you for
    sharing this, and others, free.

  16. Ann, NSW Australia says:

I’ve watched this video with Bobbie a couple of times now, and it is truly uplifting. Bobbie is amazing for doing this work, and I am particularly moved by her allowing herself to be led to come to this class – opening herself up to and allowing herself to be guided by her intuition. Nick, having you lead Bobbie and all your other guests forward with their lives is a blessing. Thank you to you all and I wish only the best for everyone in the future.

  17. Linda says:

Felt the love going out to Bobbie, felt relief from my own family hurts and will share this with my family and friends
Thank you. I have used your tapping for back pain and have had wonderful relief and continue to use tapping.

  18. Angie says:

I am truly amazed every time I watch these! I am 44 yrs old and always believed you went to the doctor to get well. About the last 4 yrs or so I have been exploring the power we have to heal ourselves. I came across tapping a few times but it seemed to good to be true, but it kept coming up on my computer or someone I was following would mention tapping. I decided to look into it and bought one of your books with the DVDs of one of your events. I have read the book and play around with it a bit. Just watching the success stories makes my heart sing. I love what you do and would love to help people the way you do someday. Thanks for sharing all the great stories!!!
