WOW! I was so moved by your video, that I’ve just sent it off to our local School District Staff and Board. I may need help as I don’t know enough to impress upon them the importance and impact this will have on students. Nancy Forrester – when they call you, may I call upon your help?? Thank you for the video and thank you in advance Nancy!

  2. Dana says:

When I purchased the material from your recent Tapping conference for my own life-long self-healing process, I thought about the other people in my world who could also benefit from this wonderful technique. I had heard originally about Tapping from a friend at a counseling center where we both worked practicum hours following our counseling psychology master’s degree programs. Now I plan to recommend to other friends, whose 10yo son I tutor and counsel, that I add Tapping to the list of strategies I’m using for, among other things, his distractibility in school. Thank you so much!!!

  3. Meg says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am not a parent, student, teacher, nor school administrator. I am simply a concerned citizen who’s been looking for something to share with the school system near me, to help jump-start the EFT movement in the educational system.

  4. Nancy Forrester, Executive Director, Canada's National EFT Training Institute, NeftTI.com says:

Thank you Nick and Jessica and everyone at the Tapping Solution. This is the video that I’ve been praying you would make! Such a high level of professionalism and credibility. As the founder and Executive Director of Canada’s National Emotional Freedom Training Institute and a psychotherapist using EFT for 18 years, I would love to connect with others in Canada who are passionate about offering young people the possibilities that EFT brings.
With great appreciation for all you have brought to the world,
    Nancy Forrester

I cried tears of joy throughout this video. Tapping in schools has huge potential for our young people, and through them our nation, our world.

  6. Chris Reynolds says:

I am an EFT Practitioner and have wanted to find ways to be able to get into schools for a while so any help I can get is wonderful. I thought the video was lovely. I’m in the UK and people tend to be more reserved here than in the US. I will be very grateful for any help to present this to my granddaughters school initially. Thank you for your inspiration and the great work you are doing with tapping

I am an art teacher in a public elementary school. When I see kids having a hard time I tell them I have had hard times in my life and found something that is really “easy-peezie” and helps me a lot. If they want me to teach them I will be happy to! I have tapped with so many kids that now they come up to my desk when all the kids are working as say things like, ” my uncle is dying of cancer can you tap with me about sometime?” The older kids, fifth and sixth graders want to tap but also want to be cool so I teach them how to finger tap when they are in class and something bothers them. The littlest of kids, like kindergarten seem to only need to tap once and they are fine all year. The older they are the more I find them needing repeat sessions. My tapping mentor told me its just that the older we are the more we stuff and all that has to be cleared. It is really evident when you have been a teacher all your life and work with kids that our wounds progressively grow if we don’t get them when they are smallest. But the sweet part is, it works and clears even the most stubborn images we harbor in our unconscious. Tapping works for all ages and all stages of life! I am so thankful for all the tapping world has taught me.

    Hi,

I have been listening to the ongoing summit presentations and really enjoy leanring more about this. I have been working as a clinical social worker in emergency rooms for the past 20+ years and have been exposed to a huge population of persons who have experienced trauma. As a clinican I am always seeking more strategies to use to assist my patients or truly anyone in need. I have listened to a few interviews online before and tapped along but did not experience any significant results in my personal experience. Yet, this modality keeps popping up and I remain very curious. I will continue to listen in on the Summit and have actually gone ahead and scheduled the rental of a beach cottage May 1-3 to spend time with my friends who are other masters level social workers specifically to take the time to experiment amongst ourselves with Tapping. I am really looking forward to this and if I am able to personally experience a breakthrough with this I will be championing it from the mountain tops at the HMO and the hospital where I work, and will be volunteering with NGOs to offer this as well. I find this truly fascinating but feel that I must have the direct experience of the power of Tapping to genuinely tout it’s praises to the very vulnerable populations I serve. Thank you so much for having the Summit open to all and I look forward to learning more!!

    hi,

I have applied to do this work before with Lori, and was recently informed I would not be able to, as I am not working in a classroom.
I do however work with children!

I also have a partner who is a school principle and I would be also approaching not only his school but ,any schools to offer this work. I am ready to go, but don’t feel I have been given much of a shot.
Especially when initially I was accepted into the program!!

    Yes I know you restructured.
I would still like a shot! As I said I am ready to go!

    Warm regards,

    Anne LIGTHART

  10. Jeanne says:

Hey everyone! These questions are mostly for Jessica. I’m working my way through your book, and several times in the past day or so, I’ve been tapping and finding myself in tears. I’ve done “work on myself” for years, and it’s all been helpful — journaling, Reiki, affirmations, listening to a lot of Louise Hay — but I’m a little bit scared by how tapping is bringing things up so quickly. I’m remembering things that have been on the periphery of my consciousness for decades. What do you advise if, during a tapping session, I just start breaking down? Should I keep tapping about the exact insight that’s making me cry? Stop for a bit? Try to ease into some positive statements? Start over with a new set-up statement? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jeanne

I loved this video it gives me hope for my grandchildren who have difficult in school. I have your video, I will set up a parent/ teachers education night to share it with other parents and teachers. Thank you for the work you and your family are doing.

  12. Debbie says:

Like others in the group, I am a teacher. Although I am currently in a Special Needs classroom, I am licensed as a 5 – 12 Language Arts teacher. Most of my teaching career has been teaching various high school English courses. I have also participated in the World Summit and am participating in your Financial Abundance and Personal Fulfillment course.

Incorporating tapping into the daily classroom is a brilliant idea. I have used breathing exercises in the past to center and focus my students. I can imagine how much better tapping would be. Using it with the special needs students would be fabulous!

I look forward to hearing more from you about this and how we can best incorporate this practice in the classroom.

Keep up the great work you are doing!

  13. carol zickell says:

I’m interested in more information on the course for educators.

    Thanks,

I just learned about your Tapping in the schools and my heart leaped out of my chest. I am an educational interpreter for the deaf working mostly in the high school level but also lower grades. I also travel to teach other interpreters how to work in educational settings. 20 years ago I trained with Occupational Therapists on a program “How Does Your Engine Run” to help school children struggling with sensory integration problems. My son was part of the first test group (saved his life!)
I have been studying tapping with you for the past few weeks and it has been such a gift. I knew I wanted to do something with it, beyond me. While I work with our deaf students, I also collaborate with our teachers and connect with many of the other students. The is an epidemic occurring in our area of students living in crisis. Yesterday I shared the Tapping blog about feeling overwhelmed with a high school senior who asked to be hospitalized. Education is my heart, Tapping is a program that our youth need. Please allow me to be a part of that for all students. (I work with special needs student and advanced, bilingual and deaf.)
This brings me so much hope for our youth! Thank YOU.

  15. Anne LIGHTHEART says:

I am so impressed with the Ortner’s – young people doing things to make BIG change…this really rocks!!

I am a part of the Classroom training with the Foundation, I have both of your books, and am in the 7 week training with you Nick….

Hope to meet you both some day, and thank you in person.

    lots of love,

    Anne Lightheart.

I have sent a request and information to Julie and sooooo want to be a part of this process. I teach Mindfulness to over 600 kindergarten to 5th grade students each week. I have gotten administrator approval for EFT tapping, but don’t feel as confident as I do with the mindfulness, as I trained in CA with Mindful Schools.

  17. Anne Murray says:

Wow! This was so interesting. I am going to research it more and see where it takes me. Thank you for your video.

  18. HILARY MOON says:

Thrilling to have this video of ‘Tapping in Schools’ Will it be possible to purchase the video (in its completeness) to present in our Public Library ?

I have already shown both ‘The Tapping Solution’ and ‘The Answer’ twice to the general public in our local library and would love to have something about ‘Tapping in Schools’ to present. Let me know !

I love your program and all the great work you do to help us. I am in a resource room at an elementary school and would like to be able to use tapping with our students. Thank you for this great video. I’m anxious to learn as much as I can to be able to share with our teachers and our students.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I have a freshman in high school… forgot how hard it is! He doesn’t know anyone, has a different schedule, rules are different and grades are even more important than ever for college entrance. Been tapping with him in the past for stress before tests, but I don’t know enough about his feelings and how to do this…. really looking forward to learning as much as I can to help my son and hopefully other kids. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to learn more!

  21. Shirley says:

All children are in need of this help, They are being pushed so hard today , they are being measured and compared and expected to grow up so fast. I see so many sad looking teens who are emotional empty . My heart aches for them. Please teach this to me

  22. Shelley says:

The video I just watched touched my heart! If we can do this in all schools, even college, it will help the lives of so many students to follow there dreams. They will be able to over come many obstacles in there lives! They will be able to shed the emotional baggage. I am so happy there is a program like this!

  23. cathy P. says:

Thank you! Bless your hearts – from a parent and grandparent – and as well – I so appreciate the opportunity of passing along this info to the teachers I know. Thanks for your quick-thinking kindness.

  25. Corina Vanana Valcan says:

Thank You Jessica Ortner for making Tapping together as I feel it in myself and it is very good. I just have to tell other teachers, students, children about it and would like to see them making it. Who knows, maybe it works in the next weeks. After this practice they might have more energy.

  26. Jackie says:

I think tapping would be wonderful to get into schools here in New Zealand. I look forward to learning more about it.

  27. Phyllis says:

Will you do tapping seminars in Vancouver, B.C.? I would like to attend and learn how to tap so I can help my students, family, friends, and anyone who would benefit from this method of healing. I cannot attend your seminars unless they are held during my spring breaks, winter breaks, and during the summer months. Therefore, if you could host them in Vancouver, B.C., it would be better for me and perhaps for others in my situation. Thank you for all that you’ve done to help so many people.

  32. Caroline says:

Great content I intend to take tapping into schools.

  33. Leanne says:

I am now retired but I really think that EFT should be part of the knowledge children are given. Teachers and educational assistants would benefit as well. I can think of so many children who would have benefited from learning how to tap. I wish I had known it in my last year when I was escorting children to a quiet room to calm down. Their knowledge of this technique would have saved them being centered out and let them feel confident in themselves to cope with adversity. After having been hurt by one of these angry students I sought help and EFT was the answer. I truly believe if I could have tapped with the child he would have felt more empowered with his own self care. I would love to know how to promote this in my school district. Thank you for all your expertise and sharing!
    Leanne

Dear Nick, Jessica, Lori, and all,

    I live in France.
I’m a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, trained in EMDR and EFT (Gary Craig’s online course).
I am totally impressed and grateful for all that you contribute, generously, in terms of videos, webinars, summits, actions, positive e-mails, etc.
It feels like I know you personally, even though we’ve never met, and you are part of my internal support team now.

I will do my best here to spread EFT. My daughters use it for their own benefit in school, so maybe I can think about introducing it to other youngsters.

    With love and gratitude
    Nour
