The word self-worth gets thrown around a lot these days. But why is it so important?
When we have a strong sense of self-worth, we know our value and we know our worth – no matter what other people say or do.Â
This helps us to feel strong, resilient, and capable, even when we face challenges. A strong sense of self-worth helps us to approach new situations with confidence – not confidence that we’ll do things perfectly, but confidence that we have the ability to figure things out as we go and bounce back from any setback.Â
Self-worth helps us trust and believe in ourselves no matter where we might end up. And it helps us to show up fully to our lives, stay more present, and enjoy ourselves even more. Â
Today, I’ve got 10 powerful affirmations to boost self-worth to share with you.Â
You can simply read this list, or read each one aloud to yourself as you go. Â
-
There is no one better to be than myself.
-
 I appreciate my unique strengths.Â
-
 I believe in my abilities.
-
 I accept who I am.
-
I am free to be myself, exactly as I am.
-
I have everything I need within me.
-
I do not need to be perfect to be worthy.
-
I don’t have to do anything or achieve anything to be loved and valued.
-
 I am always enough.
-
I love the person I am and who I am becoming.
Take a moment to feel the impact of those words.Â
How do you feel after reading them or saying them out loud?
If you’d like, take a second to think about which of those affirmations resonated most with you. Which ones stood out, and hit you more strongly than the others?Â
Whatever the reminders were that you most needed to hear today, I encourage you to take them with you throughout the rest of your day.Â
You are an incredibly special human being, and you are so worthy of love, kindness, respect, and care. You are doing such a great job!
Until next time…
