You’re tired, time to go to bed, sleep… But all too often, the restless mind, the anxious thoughts, the stress gets in the way of deep, restful sleep.
Various studies have linked sleep deficits with poor work performance, driving accidents, relationship problems, and mood problems like anger and depression.
And a growing list of health risks have been documented in recent studies, like heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
So what’s the solution?
Well, EFT works VERY well to promote deep, restful sleep.
Don’t take my word for it, listen to this free tapping meditation, do the tapping and then you can report back on how much better you slept, how much more energy you have, and how great you feel!

Until next time…
Keep Tapping!

Just tried for first time it liwerd to stress but not enough for sleep Guess I just gotta keep useing How long and often you suggest
Hi Gary, the length of time for tapping is different for everyone. You may wish to try some more deep, releasing tapping during the day to help, and then come back and try tapping before going to sleep. 🙂
Thank you for the great tips.
You’re welcome, Dea. 🙂
Nick I began tapping for certain issues after watching your free video last week. What I am amazed at is since beginning this (I do it at night as I’m going to bed but not for help to sleep) I have been getting 7 hours unbroken sleep each night which I have not done for over 10 years. Is this normal?
Thanks for sharing, Jenny! It certainly can be, because the tapping itself (regardless of what topic you’re actually tapping on) calms the stress response of your body, allowing it to relax and be in a more balanced state. And when your body is more relaxed, then it allows for a more restful night’s sleep. 🙂
I have had anxiety and unable to sleep since getting a pacemaker. I cannot take psychiatric drugs. The side effects are awful. I am drawn to tapping but how do I begin? Is there a program? Please help.
Hi Anne. I recommend you start where you are and tap on what is causing the anxiety or what you feel in the moment. In addition to this tapping for sleep, you may find Jessica’s stress relief audios helpful. You can find them here: https://www.thetappingsolution.com/jessica-ortners-stress-relief-audios-free-download/. If you would like some more specific resources for tapping on anxiety, we do have a program for that as well: https://www.thetappingsolution.com/anxiety/program-store.html. If you have any questions about how the program works, please email contact@thetappingsolution.com. Our customer service team would be happy to assist you. Wishing you all the best! xo
Thank you for sharing this tapping with Ruth. I usually wake up at three or four, but after this tapping session with Ruth I woke at 5.30! I will use this tapping again tonight and hope it will do its work for the coming nights. I had a sleeping problem for 15 years, so I would be so happy if this is my solution! Thanks!!
Thank you very much for posting this gift.share with Ruth, insomnia for 21 years; somehow managed to have gotten thru it. times not as bad as others. right now pretty bad wake around 2:30 a.m. unable to resume sleep. drawers full pills, hypnosis, CD’s you name it. will always research seek answers. felt sleepy after listening for first time around 4:00 a.m. and was able to rest some before preparing for work at 5:30 a.m. Look forward to try this before bedtime. so grateful. hope many are helped.
p.s. how do we access the 2nd lesson?
As we finished this evening’s tapping on restful sleeping, Ruth mentioned calming the body and that reminded me of Self-Calming Exercises given to me by a Psychologist I was seeing at the time, years ago. At that time my body was so taut from stress that I must have squeaked when I walked. I used to catch myself tightening up many times and immediately started to calm my toes, feet, legs, and so on until I was completely relaxed. No wonder we have trouble sleeping, we are such nervous little animals. Thanks, Ruth, for helping me to calm down and relax again when I need it.
I’m with you, Ruth, about anxiety causing insomnia, and I must remember to tap on my issues during the day and not take them to bed with me. I am tapping with you and Jessica every night now and feel so much more rested. The key word is “rest” and it makes my body want to relax just thinking about it. Yawn! Thanks, Ruth, so many people will benefit and be grateful to you for sharing your experience.
I am about to listen to this, and would love to find something that helps me sleep better. However, when I was regularly using tapping for anxiety and other issues, I found that if I tapped at night I didn’t sleep, so had to switch to tapping first thing in the morning. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks!
that was fantastic thankyou
thank you very much for your concerned to my resful for this rest that good rest from the tapping and good opportunity to take much from rest
This is such a good session of tapping to relax into sleep. So many people could use this. Insomnia never bothered me much before, but it sure feels good to get a good nights sleep, even once in awhile. Thenk you so much and know that you are appreciated for your good work.
I didn’t realize I could actually Tap on my negativity. That in itself has been healing. Thank you for publishing that info and thanks to the lady’s and their soft spoken ways.
Hi Nick:
Just read the above comments by Ellie on August 3rd at 11:49 p.m. I also have myalgic encephalomyelitis and sounds like the same problems as hers. My comment above of August 4th at 9:53 a.m. explains my problem.
Would love to get in touch with Ellie if that is possible? It would be great if we could compare notes as to our progress and what works for us…
Thanks in advance.
Mary
I listened to the audio yesterday in the afternoon, meant to listen again before going to sleep but could not do so and to my amazement, I realised this morning that I did not wake up at 3.00 a.m during the night. So here am I again today to listen again and to try to remember the phrasing.. It works. Thank you, Thank you.I love this idea on tapping for rest and bringing in something which is much bigger than our negative thoughts. Yes this is fantastic.
Thank you very much for the insomnia exercise. I ‘m ok at present but sometimes may need to use it. The breathing meditation which is suggested, makes sense, too as it is not stimulating.
If I could add that I have learnt that visualising oneself doing the tapping helps if too tired to physically do it.
All the best,
Elissa.
I am trying to tapp correctly for myself, Could it be possible for me to tap on my person with intention to benefit my husband who doesnt believe this method is efective?
I’ve been suffering from PTSD since 1977 while in the USAF I was incarcerated in the South of Turkey. I take so many drugs just to get to sleep and wake up way to early, like 4am this
morning and not real functual until the meds wear off. Can EFT work for me?
Sleepy!
I have really set a test for the tapping,i’d say the scale is well over 10. as this obsessive worry has been going on for years hope that the tapping will finally shift things for me!! will let you know .The tip about switching off the t.v was good ,because I’ve been using it too take my mind off my worry and to help me fall asleep!!!thank-you 🙂
Hi Nick:
I really enjoyed the tapping with Jessica and Ruth the Therapist and I am hoping you will leave it up for awhile so I can listen to it over and over again and be able to learn it by heart. I have medical challenges that make insomnia a real problem but the anxiety caused by the infection that attacks my central nervous system I am very hopeful that it will respond to this tape.
I’m wondering if I put it in a special folder my daughter made for me on the computer will that keep it there for me permanently or not? Please excuse my internet ignorance as I am real new at this late in life and know only the basics. Like turn it off and on. ha ha
Thanking you in advance for your reply Nick.
Mary
first of all thank you very much for this helpfull tool. i have nights when i wake up at 3 in the morning and can’t sleep again. now i will do this tapping and will tell you how it effected me.

love to all
daniella
Thanks so much – I really hope this will work.
I’ve tapped away pain, so I was primed to use this script for my poor sleep due to myalgic encephalomyelitis and fibromyalgia. I got good relief from the first round and, like the others, was yawning when the second was completed; by the third tapping I was wiped out…..G’night
Thanks. In the future it would be very helpful to know how long the program is, so I know if I have time to listen or can schedule the time. This program sounds essential.
Thank you soooo much. Yes, I am yawning this moment. I’m an insomniac, but I never worried about it. I would just sit up reading or playing cards on the internet or whatever, until I fell asleep. Maybe this will help me to catch up on my sleep. So helpful, as usual, even with the tips to tap softly or slowly, love it.
Really effective! Have struggled sleeping for over a year, mainly due to pain. Now due to anxiety of pain occuring and waking me. This feels much easier than it has been when heading to sleep. Thanks!
Thank you again, I dont know if you read my mind but I needed this SOOOOOOOOOO much, its been at least 3 months that Ihave a hard time falling asleep and then wake up at 3:30 or 4:00 am.
Thank you this was so interesting I feel better just tapping along this once.
I sure will try it for 30 days perhaps it will improve my personality with some sleep. Thank you very much.
Carol
Thank-you!!! I feel sleepy already…….night,night….
