    This is the BEST podcast I have had the pleasure of listening to! I so agree with Dr. Brogan and am so thrilled that someone of her stature is willing to come out and bust the myths about depression and medications. By the way, I listen to a variety of podcasts each morning to help establish my day and I almost didn’t listen to this one this morning! I am so glad I did. I am a mental health practitioner within in a primary care setting and am simply appalled at the medicate-first approach to patients presenting with depression or anxiety or, actually, anyone who presents with any emotional imbalance. It totally denigrates any sense of self empowerment and it is the WRONG approach. That you for such a quality program!

    Hi
    My son is struggling with Mental health and we have been trying to help him. We r running out of options because all the different medications have not been very helpful. He has been in a suicidal state for the past two weeks, i have not been able to leave him alone. Is there a way we could be connected with a tapping coach or someone whom could meet with us and teach us how to help him or show him skills to get through this difficult time in his life.
    I just think we could help him quicker if we had someone teach us the skills or know people in our area who could meet with us.
