Terms of Service

The agreement between you and The Tapping Solution when you list your practice in our EFT Practitioner Directory.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Practitioner") and The Tapping Solution, LLC ("The Tapping Solution," "we," "us," or "our") that governs your listing in, and use of, the EFT Practitioner Directory (the "Directory"). By creating an account, checking the box to accept these Terms during signup, or listing your practice, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not list your practice.

1About this directory & these terms

In plain EnglishThe Directory is a place where people looking for tapping help can find you and reach out to you directly. We provide the listing platform; the work you do with clients is entirely your own.

The Directory is an online listing service that helps people find and contact independent EFT ("tapping") practitioners, in person or online. We provide the platform on which your profile appears, the search that helps people find you, and the tools to manage your listing. We do not provide tapping, coaching, therapy, or medical services, and we are not a party to any relationship, agreement, session, or transaction between you and anyone who contacts you through the Directory.

These Terms are the full version of the short agreement you accept when you build your profile. Where the two ever appear to differ, these Terms govern.

2Who can list

In plain EnglishYou should be a genuinely trained tapping practitioner. We ask you to describe your training so the Directory stays trustworthy. We don't independently verify or certify credentials.

To list your practice, you must:

Be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
Be a trained EFT / tapping practitioner, and accurately describe your training, certifications, and relevant background when you sign up.
Provide accurate account and profile information and keep it current.
Hold any licenses, registrations, or insurance required for the services you offer in your own jurisdiction, and comply with the laws and professional rules that apply to you.

No verification or endorsement. The Directory operates on a self-described, pay-to-list basis. We do not independently verify certifications, licenses, qualifications, or the accuracy of any listing, and being listed is not a certification, credential, endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any Practitioner by The Tapping Solution. We may, but are not obligated to, review listings and decline or remove any listing at our discretion (see Section 8).

3Your independent status

In plain EnglishYou're an independent professional. We list you — we don't employ you, supervise you, or partner with you, and being listed doesn't make you part of The Tapping Solution.

You are an independent practitioner. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or supervisory relationship between you and The Tapping Solution. Specifically:

We do not employ, manage, supervise, train, direct, or control you or your work.
You set your own services, methods, schedule, availability, pricing, and policies.
You are solely responsible for your sessions, your clients, your business, and your own taxes, insurance, and compliance.
You may not describe yourself as an employee, agent, or representative of The Tapping Solution, or use our name or brand in a way that suggests we employ, supervise, certify, or endorse you.

4Your account

In plain EnglishKeep your login secure and your details accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Notify us promptly at contact@thetappingsolution.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You must provide accurate account information, including a valid email address, which we use for inquiries, receipts, and important notices. One account and one listing per Practitioner unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5Your listing & accuracy

In plain EnglishList only yourself, and make sure everything on your profile is true. Don't put another person or business on your profile, and don't post anything you don't have the right to use.

You agree that:

You list yourself only. A profile represents a single practitioner — you. You may not use the Directory to list, advertise, or resell space for other people, a group, a business roster, or a directory of your own.
Your information is accurate. Everything you publish — your name, training, specialties, formats, location, pricing, availability, contact details, photos, video, and testimonials — is truthful, current, and not misleading. You will update it when it changes.
You have the rights to your content. You own or have permission to use every photo, video, logo, quote, and other material you upload, and it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
Your content is appropriate. You will not post anything unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate, and you will not include spam, malware, or links to harmful or unrelated commercial sites.
Specialties reflect real focus. You will choose specialties (up to the limit shown in the builder) that genuinely reflect your practice, rather than tagging topics to game search placement.

6Professional conduct & claims

In plain EnglishTapping helps a lot of people, but don't promise to cure, treat, or guarantee results for any condition. Be honest, treat people well, and stay inside what you're actually qualified to do.

You are responsible for how you present your services and how you treat the people who contact you. You agree to:

Make no medical or guaranteed-outcome claims. Do not state or imply that tapping, or your services, diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or are a substitute for treatment of any physical or mental health condition, and do not guarantee specific results. Avoid words like "cure," "heal," "treat," "guaranteed," or similar promises.
Not present yourself as a licensed medical or mental-health provider unless you actually are one, and then only within the scope of that license and the law that applies to you.
Be honest and professional in your listing and in every interaction with people who reach out to you.
Handle crises responsibly. Tapping is not a crisis service. If someone who contacts you appears to be in crisis or at risk of harm, direct them to appropriate emergency or professional resources.
Comply with all laws that apply to your practice, advertising, and any health-related claims, including consumer-protection and advertising rules in your jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for your services, your claims, your clients' care, and the consequences of your conduct. The Tapping Solution has no responsibility or liability for any session, advice, outcome, or dispute arising from your work.

7Testimonials & client permission

In plain EnglishOnly post real testimonials from real clients, and get their okay first. Keep them about how the person felt and what changed — not medical promises.

Testimonials build trust, so we hold them to a simple standard. For every testimonial you publish, you represent and warrant that:

It comes from a real client and reflects that person's genuine experience and honest opinion.
You have that person's permission to publish their words and any name, initial, location, or image shown with them.
It is not fabricated, incentivized in a way that would make it misleading, or edited so as to change its meaning.
It does not contain medical guarantees, claims to cure or treat a condition, or another person's private or contact information.

You are responsible for complying with any laws or regulations that govern testimonials and endorsements in your jurisdiction. We may remove any testimonial at our discretion and may ask you to substantiate it.

8Review, approval & removal

In plain EnglishNew listings are reviewed before they go live. If we approve it, you're listed; if we can't approve it, you get a full refund. We can also suspend or remove a listing that breaks these Terms.

Review and approval. New listings are submitted for review before they appear publicly. Most are approved quickly. If we are unable to approve your listing, we will let you know and refund your listing fee in full (see Section 10). Approval is not an endorsement and does not verify your credentials.

Suspension and removal. We may, at our discretion and without prior notice where appropriate, decline, edit, suspend, or remove any listing, testimonial, or account — and withhold or reverse featured placement — if we believe it:

violates these Terms, our content guidelines, or the law;
is inaccurate, misleading, or makes prohibited health claims;
is the subject of credible complaints or reports; or
could harm the safety, trust, or reputation of the Directory, its visitors, or The Tapping Solution.

Where a removal is for cause (your breach of these Terms), fees are non-refundable. If we remove a listing for reasons unrelated to your conduct, see the refund terms in Section 10.

9Fees, billing & renewals

In plain EnglishListing is an annual membership that renews automatically until you cancel. There's a base Listing and an optional Featured upgrade. We don't take any cut of what you earn from clients.

Membership. A Directory listing is a paid annual membership. We offer a base Listing tier and an optional Featured upgrade, with one- and two-year term options. The current prices and what each tier includes are shown on the List Your Practice page at the time you sign up or upgrade.

Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each term at the then-current rate for your tier and term, using your payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will send a renewal reminder before your renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.

Payments and taxes. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. You are responsible for any applicable taxes (such as VAT or GST), which may be added at checkout. If a payment fails, we may retry it and will let you know; your listing may be temporarily kept live during that retry window and will expire if payment is not completed.

No commission. Beyond your membership fee, we take no commission or cut of your sessions or of anything a client pays you. How you charge clients, and getting paid, is between you and them.

Price changes. We may change our prices from time to time. Any change applies to future renewals, and we will give you notice before a renewal at a new price. Existing members migrated from our previous directory keep their current ("grandfathered") rate; new rates apply only to new signups and new upgrades unless we tell you otherwise in advance.

10Refunds

In plain EnglishYou have 30 days to change your mind and get your money back. If we can't approve your listing, you're refunded in full whenever that happens. After the first 30 days, you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal, but the current term isn't refunded.

30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not happy with your listing, tell us within 30 days of your initial subscription date and we will refund that payment in full. This applies to both monthly and annual memberships.
Listing not approved: if we are unable to approve a new listing, we refund the associated fee in full, whenever that happens.
After the first 30 days: membership fees are non-refundable, including for partial terms, because your listing is published and available for the paid period. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current term (see Section 11).
Removed by us without cause: if we permanently remove your live listing for reasons unrelated to your breach of these Terms, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the remaining paid period.
Where local law requires a refund or cancellation right (for example, certain consumer cooling-off rights), those rights still apply.

11Cancellation

In plain EnglishYou can cancel your renewal anytime from your billing settings. Your listing stays up until the end of the period you already paid for, then comes down. You're always welcome back.

You may cancel automatic renewal at any time through your dashboard's billing settings (managed via our payment processor). When you cancel, your listing remains live through the end of your current paid term and then expires and is removed from public view. You can rejoin at any time. We may also end or suspend your membership as described in Section 8.

12Content & intellectual property

In plain EnglishYour profile content stays yours. You give us permission to display and promote it while you're listed. Our brand and the Directory itself stay ours.

Your content. You keep ownership of the content you upload (your text, photos, video, and testimonials, "Your Content"). You grant The Tapping Solution a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting and display, and promote Your Content in connection with operating and marketing the Directory (for example, showing your profile in search results, on location and specialty pages, and in reasonable promotion of the Directory). This license ends when your content is removed, except for reasonable backups and any use already made.

Our content. The Tapping Solution name, logo, the Directory, its design, and its software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use our brand except to truthfully state that you are listed in the Directory, and only in the way we permit.

13Privacy & how contact works

In plain EnglishPeople contact you directly using the email and phone you choose to show. We don't sit in the middle of your client relationships. How we handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

The Directory connects people to you directly: your contact details appear on your profile (revealed when a visitor clicks to contact you), and inquiries go straight to you. We do not host messaging, take bookings, or manage your client communications, and we are not responsible for them. Our handling of your account information and the Directory's basic analytics is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the controller of any personal information your clients share with you and are responsible for handling it lawfully.

14Medical disclaimer

In plain EnglishThe Directory helps people find support — it isn't medical advice, therapy, or a referral service, and neither is anything on your profile.

The Directory, and the profiles and testimonials it contains, are for informational purposes and to help people find independent practitioners. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or a professional referral. EFT / tapping is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care. Nothing you publish on your profile may claim otherwise. Anyone in crisis should contact their local emergency services or a qualified professional.

15Indemnification

In plain EnglishIf your work, your claims, or your content lead to a legal claim against us, you agree to cover us for it. This is standard, but please read it.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Tapping Solution, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your services, sessions, advice, conduct, or business; (b) Your Content, including your listing information and testimonials; (c) your breach of these Terms or of any law; or (d) any dispute between you and a client or any other person you connect with through the Directory.

16Disclaimers & limitation of liability

In plain EnglishWe provide the platform "as is." We can't promise a certain number of inquiries or clients, and our financial responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us.

Service provided "as is." The Directory is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Directory will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listing will result in any particular number of views, inquiries, clients, or income.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Tapping Solution will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Directory or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Directory or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for your membership in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

17Changes to these terms

In plain EnglishWe may update these Terms. If we make an important change, we'll let you know, and continuing to stay listed means you accept the update.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice on the Directory) before it takes effect. Changes are effective on the date posted or stated in the notice. If you continue to keep your listing after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel as described in Section 11.

18Governing law & disputes

In plain EnglishThese Terms are governed by Connecticut law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and The Tapping Solution agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Connecticut for any dispute not otherwise subject to an agreed alternative process. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
