How we handle information in the EFT Practitioner Directory — for the practitioners who list, and the people who browse.
This Privacy Policy explains what information The Tapping Solution, LLC ("The Tapping Solution," "we," "us") collects through the EFT Practitioner Directory (the "Directory"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms of Service. For the privacy practices of our main website and app, please see the privacy policy on thetappingsolution.com.
People searching the Directory can browse without an account, and we do not ask them for personal information. Practitioners provide the information needed to publish a listing and manage a paid membership. We use trusted service providers to run payments, email, hosting, and basic analytics, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
This policy applies to two groups: Practitioners, who create an account and pay to list their practice, and Visitors, who browse the Directory to find a practitioner. The information we handle is different for each, so we describe them separately below.
When you sign up and build a listing, we collect:

The information on your public profile is, by design, visible to anyone who browses the Directory. Please only publish what you're comfortable making public. Your account email and password are not shown publicly.
Visitors do not create accounts, and we do not collect names, emails, or contact details from people browsing the Directory. To help practitioners understand interest in their listings, we record two simple, anonymous events:
These events are aggregated into counts (for example, "42 views this month"). We do not store a message or match these actions to an identifiable person, and we filter out obvious bots and a practitioner viewing their own profile so the numbers stay meaningful. When you contact a practitioner, you do so directly by email or phone; those conversations happen off our platform and are between you and the practitioner.

Where required by law (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK), we show a cookie notice and do not set non-essential analytics cookies until you accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.

For practitioners in regions with data-protection laws, our legal bases are performing our contract with you (running your listing and billing), your consent (for non-essential cookies and optional messages), and our legitimate interests (keeping the Directory secure and improving it).
We share information with service providers ("sub-processors") who process it on our behalf under contract, including:

A practitioner's public profile information is, of course, shared publicly on the Directory by design. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
We keep practitioner account and profile information for as long as your listing is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Aggregated, anonymous analytics may be kept longer because they are not tied to an identifiable person. When you delete your account (see Section 10), we remove your public profile and delete or anonymize your personal information, except what we must retain by law (for example, payment records).
Practitioners can view and edit most of their information directly from their dashboard at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at contact@thetappingsolution.com and we'll respond as required by law. You won't be treated differently for exercising these rights.
You can cancel your membership from your billing settings, which takes your listing down at the end of your paid term. To delete your account and data entirely, use the "delete my account" option in your dashboard settings, or email contact@thetappingsolution.com. We will remove your public profile and delete or anonymize your personal information, keeping only what the law requires us to retain (such as transaction records). Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may remain.
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private, and tell us at contact@thetappingsolution.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
The Directory is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice on the Directory) before it takes effect, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
