“A compassionate space to process pain, heal trauma and anxiety, and reconnect with confidence, self-compassion, and strength.”
10 years in practice
I particularly enjoy supporting individuals who are navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, shame, guilt, self-criticism, limiting beliefs, trauma, and difficult life experiences. As a counsellor and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner, I help clients understand their emotions, recognise unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in self-understanding, acceptance, and self-compassion. Together, we explore difficult emotions, limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, and past experiences that may affect your relationships, confidence, and sense of self-worth.
I incorporate EFT tapping to help clients connect with and process emotions compassionately, supporting emotional awareness, regulation, and self-acceptance. I have a particular interest in helping people overcome self-criticism, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and reconnect with their needs and values.
My multicultural and international exposure has strengthened my appreciation for diverse backgrounds and relationship dynamics. I strive to offer culturally sensitive support that respects each person's unique experiences.
My role is not to tell you what to feel or decide, but to provide a safe space to explore your experiences and discover what feels right for you. Whether you are navigating relationship challenges, healing from painful experiences, or adjusting to life's changes, our work together can support greater emotional resilience, self-trust, and confidence.
The first session is an opportunity to slow down, feel heard, and begin exploring what is happening beneath the surface. I aim to create a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel comfortable being yourself.
We may explore the emotions you have been carrying, your relationships, self-image, and the thoughts or beliefs that influence the way you see yourself and your experiences. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin. We can start wherever feels most meaningful to you.
We may focus on an emotion, thought, memory, or situation that you would like to work with. Rather than judging, suppressing, or pushing away what you feel, we create space to acknowledge and process it with greater awareness and compassion.
During the session, we will pause from time to time to notice any changes in your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, or perspective. These moments of pause can sometimes bring greater clarity or allow something important to emerge naturally. Whatever comes up can be explored at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
We may also look at some of the beliefs you hold about yourself and consider whether they continue to serve you.
Where appropriate, we can begin developing more supportive and compassionate ways of relating to yourself. The focus is not on forcing positive thinking, but on finding perspectives that feel authentic and empowering to you.
Towards the end of the session, we will reflect on what you have discovered and identify a small, realistic step or intention for the days ahead. I believe meaningful change develops gradually through small, consistent steps and a kinder relationship with yourself.
I hope that you leave your first session feeling heard, with greater clarity about what you are experiencing and a sense that you have taken an important first step towards understanding and reconnecting with yourself.
The first EFT session typically lasts 60 minutes. As an EFT practitioner, my role is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns at your own pace. We begin by discussing what brings you to the session, your emotional experiences, and what you hope to work towards.
I explain the EFT tapping process and guide you through the technique, helping you notice and acknowledge your feelings with compassion rather than judgment.
Together, we identify areas to focus on and practise tapping in a way that feels comfortable for you.
My role is to gently guide and support you throughout your EFT journey, creating space for you to explore your emotions at a pace that feels right for you. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, helping you build emotional awareness, nurture self-acceptance, strengthen inner resilience, and discover healthier ways to navigate life's challenges.
