From the Desk of Nick Ortner

Many of you are with us through your participation in the 2009 and 2010 Tapping World Summits, which over 100,000 people attended…

But I know some of you have joined us since then, and some weren’t able to attend the event when it happened, so I thought today I’d share with you, for the next 48 hours, one of the most popular sessions from last
year’s summit.

It concerns physical pain, and how to use tapping to clear it out of your life.

I recently read that more than a quarter of Americans suffer from physical pain on a daily basis, a startling number!

…Especially when there is a tool out there to treat it so effectively…

If you’re in pain right now, or know someone who is, listen to Jessica interviewing Stacey Vornbrock on how to quickly manage or eliminate pain from trauma, injury or surgery:

.

I’m considering putting on a focused 3-4 day live event together that deals only with clearing physical pain, once and for all.

It would likely only hold 10 people, so each person can get individual attention from some of the world’s EFT experts, and then we’ll film the process so everyone else can benefit as well.

If you’re interested in it, please let me know.  :)

Until next time….

Keep tapping!

Nick

Question of the Day

Are you in physical pain? Have you had success using tapping for pain? What did you learn from this interview and how can you apply it to your life today?

Because I do alot of physical healing with my clients as well as myself I love having more information to add to my toolbox. I would love to purchase her book. How do I get it?

  8. I loved the talk on pain. Jessica does such a wonderful job of interviewing she is a blessing. I would be interested in how to stop pain. I have pain that is constantly changing and no one can find a reason for it.
I would say there has been a lot of negative energy in my life. I sure would like to feel good again.
If I lived closer to the NE I would of loved to have been a part of group. I certainly would like to know more about this subject.

You and all the other EFt practitioners are providing a fantastic service to ensure people like me can move forward and LIVE their lives without the hinderance of pain. If there is anyone out there who doubts EFT works, try it YOURSELF and see… you WON’T be disappointed:) Thank You again from the light and flow of my heart. Suzi

  15. Thank you, Nick, for making Jessica’s interview of Stacey available outside of the 2010 Tapping World Summit materials. I bought the package, especially enjoyed and continue to enjoy this interview (repeatedly!), and ended up getting Stacey to write a review of one of my new books (Mental Tricks for Endurance Runners and Walkers) this summer — and then interviewing me on BlogTalkRadio about it! As a sports performance pioneer, Stacey truly is a master at using EFT for injuries. I highly recommend that everyone check out her site at http://www.ByeByeBlocks.com. I frequently use her tapping protocols before, after, and even during long runs and walks.

  16. I have had very good results with tapping for pain for 10 years. I have a tapping group (meetup.com). I now combine tapping with the wand from Amega. I tap with the wand. Both tools are great for relieving pain. The wife of the doctor who developed TFT is a distributor for the wand. Her group is doing research using the wand and tapping.

Alot of my pain is caused from spinal meningitis, so pain from illness would be nice to be included in this even though the main topic here is injury, surgery and trauma. Excellent. More please! :)

  26. I’ve been in a staate of chronic pain for over 10 years. The past 4 years, I’ve been unable to sit for longer than 20 min and I can only stand about 45 min. I spend half my life lying on my sides or stomach. I was told not only do I have Fibromyalgia, BUT…now my gluteus muscles are almost completely not working!! It’s whare almost ALL my pain is! Only 52 but ready for the Lord on most days..I’ve tried and tapped with many. What could I possibly be doing wrong?! I so desperately WANT to believe this would work!!!! I NEED a REAL EFT practitioner maybe!

  28. I do remember this interview from last year’s summit. It was one of my favorites. Jessica has been doing a really great job on these interviews. She has a knack for asking really good questions and for getting the most out of her guests. Thank you all for that.

I have been struggling with some physical issues that I have not been able to quite clear yet with EFT, so yes, I would also be very interested in participating in your workshop. Although, I may actually want to send my husband in in my place because his sticky issues are more serious.

At any rate, thanks again to you guys for the great job you are doing. It’s always so easy to tell when people are living their bliss. Lucky you and lucky us who get to participate in the fallout.

  32. I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful session. I am new to EFT, though not to energy medicine. I have had three close calls with death (way too close for comfort) in which different parts of my body received serious blows and injuries. I suffered for chronic pain for almost 40 years. Although I’ve used a variety of other processes, and feel that I am at the end, or nearing the end of this incredible cycle of pain, nevertheless, while doing the tapping, I could feel a few deeper layers being touched, and am grateful for your ability to help me at that level.

I also saw your video today about the tapping world conference and about the money going to the cancer ward in Oaxaca, and I was moved tremendously. I admire the work you are collectively doing tremendously!

  45. Hi Nick, That was a great interview with so many ideas to deal with pain. Over many years I have a number of accidents, the most recent a lot of back pain, so I found Jessie’s way of tapping through the pain really interesting. Pity I was unable to download the interview.
I have done levels 1&2 EFT, and been tapping for a few years. Last years World Tapping online was great. so I guess this is going to be as good too.
Thanks for all you do to spread the word.

  46. A fall in 2003 left me with two torn menisci, and bilateral cellulitis subsequent to arthroscopic repairs rendered me ineligible for any possibility of knee replacements in the future. Degenerative spinal arthritis and diabetic neuropathy in my feet round out my cluster of chronic pain. I am also a survivor of child abandonment and long-standing complex trauma, and l would dearly love to be considered for the proposed live workshop. Please send information on your selection process.

I thought the only choice I had for the rest of my life was to go though life sedated, missing a great deal and still in pain, or to go through life in even more pain but missing less because I’d at least be awake. 62. Dear Nick & Jessica,
Stacey Warnbrock’s presentation on Pain, and all the emotions associated with it plus the Integration of accepting changes were fantastic. As an experienced practitioner of EFT this is the best I have ever hear. I can’t wait to use the methodology with clients.

    Comment by Kate Orr — September 2, 2010 @ 11:32 pm

  63. Hi, I started tapping in March of 2009, shortly after being introduced to it by a friend who had heard about it from her sister, but had never used it. I was going through a divorce, could not sleep, had PTSD from years of abuse, and had had chronic aches and pains, some for as long as 48 years. With lots of prayer, tapping and visualizing I feel like a new person. I’m sure that getting out of a damaging relationship helped a great deal, also. I have left insomnia and PTSD from years of abuse and walking on egg shells behind and all my chronic aches and pains. One of the most beautiful affects of having this wonderful tool is that I am empowered to do and to be what ever I can imagine wanting to do or be.
I studied all of Gary Craig’s training libraries extensively but did not finish in time to take the tests to be certified. That is OK though, I learned so much and continue to study what many others are doing with meridian tapping.
I have helped many people already with EFT and have been called a healer by many of them. I am just getting started on a wonderful and fulfilling adventure as I hope to start my own EFT practice early next year.
One of the most interesting and amazing healing break throughs was when I tapped on a pain and lack of mobility in my left hip. When I was young child I realized that I could not sit Indian style on the floor like the other kids and my hip really hurt when I tried to. I determined that I must be deformed or something and just accepted it and lived with it. So, 48 years later (6 months ago), I tapped about it, my beliefs, feelings, lack of mobility and the pain, all in great detail and in about an hours time, slowly improving all the while, I was doing what I had not attempted in 48 years, sitting Indian style on the floor and without pain. As I write this, my left hip is starting to throb a little. I wonder what that is about. There is always something exciting to discover!!!
    Lovin’ energy,
    Connie Sloan

  64. Hello there Nick and Jessica! I just have to say a huge thank you for this particular programme! Stacey Warnbrock ‘s methodology for healing pain is, quite frankly, amazing. I spend much time studying this practice, working to greater understanding of it, and of course using it! It felt ‘heaven sent’ to find this particular programme on pain, as a friend, only yesterday, told she has serious neck problems, and she could only really hope to manage the pain, as surgery, if deemed possible, was likely to be very risky. This morning she told me she had slept well, for the first time in a long time, and is pain free. Whilst always appreciative of the practice and specialisms I find I need to say a very loud (!) ‘ THANK YOU’ from across the pond, in England, to both of you, and all your colleagues, peers and practitioners, and in this instance, particularly Stacey, for all you share, and the openness and ease of working alongside you, towards emotional freedom and therefore optimal health and opportunity. Go well! Ally Lewis. EFT Practitioner and Counsellor.

  68. How can tapping work for someone who is disabled and cannot physically do the tapping (or if a person has a mental disability or impairment (ex. Alzheimer’s, stroke)? Are they dependent on someone else (to do the tapping on their body for them)? Is it possible for tapping to be done via the mind or spirit to those far away? What if the person or their family does not believe in tapping? Do physical surrogates have to be used? Thanks!

  70. I have just got here so haven’t listened yet. I am looking forward to trying Anything for my pain. I had a five story fall in NYC when I was 19 so that has plagued me and now is almost crippling. Then I was in an accident and contracted Hepatitis C from a bad blood transfusion, which I just learned about but have had for roughly 25 years. I’m one of the rare few who seems to get ALL of the symptoms, common and rare, of the hepatitis c. The illness and my back pain from the spinal damage of the fall are a catch 22…If I try to be active and beat the Hepatitis symptoms but my back inevitably lays me out for a week, which makes the HEpatitis worse..and vice versa! So I will write later to let you know how it goes. Thank you for this, even if it only works a little, it’ll be huge. Thank You!!

  73. This protocol is extremely thorough and well-thought-out. I’m grateful for it and awed by it. Yes, I definitely want to buy her book and any video and/or CD that becomes available.

I especially would like to know the protocol for releasing the energy signature of substances. It was referred to in the audio, but not explained, as it was in the workbook that came along with the tapping summit, but that was not available now. It was mentioned that it also was in her book. How do I go about purchasing that? I definitely would like to.

I’m curious as to how these protocols might be applied to other long-standing issues, such as emotional pain or anxieties that were initially triggered by a trauma. If you ever do a live session with, I volunteer! Thank you.

  77. I just want to thank Jessica for the intervew with Stacey. I had colon cancer 7 yrs ago, and three major operations. my intestines are very tight and i have pain erery time I eat. My back is very tight because I had few hard falls on it so there is constant pain. to night I tapped on my intestines and I could feel some of the tightness letting go on the death part. I am so glad that you will be holding a work shop on pain I will enjoy it thank you david

  78. Thanks so much for the link to the interview with Stacey Vornbrock. I am very interested in the workbook that Jessica mentions, can you give me some information on that? I recently injured my right arm, have been very frustrated with the slow healing. Also, I am a hospice nurse, and I can see how tapping could very greatly benefit the people I work with and for.
    Thank you for your service,
    Wendy

  80. I enjoyed the audio & would love to be able to listen to it again – CD, MP3, e-book, etc. – my life’s too portable to sit at my computer so long. EFT has help me in sooooo many ways – mostly emotional, so far. It’s portable & easy & wish I had been open to this sooner. Thanks!

  84. Jessica’s interview with Stacey Vornbrock has inspired me to believe that tapping will help with the thirty four years of sometimes excruciating pain from what is know at rheumatoid arthritis. I listened and went through the tapping for pain twice. The interview with Stacey Vornbrock gave me hope that this constant pain may diminish and eventually be gone. I know this was geared for injuries and surgeries, and I have had many, but I wonder if there is tapping for long term pain suffers from illness? In the interview they mentioned a free workbook that I think could be downloaded. I didn’t see any place to click for that down load. Perhaps I misunderstood. Please let me know. Anyway I appreciate the interview and I’m sharing it. Ruth McPherson

  89. I had rotator cuff repair surgery on June 10th. I have been in a lot of pain since. The first time through this, and the majority of the pain was gone! I will continue to listen to it until I am pain-free.
I would also like the workbook download.
    Thank you for this!

  90. Hi Nick,
Please let me begin by saying that you are, indeed, an angel! You have given so many people hope, and freedom from emotional, as well as physical pain. I am nearly desperate for relief from my physical pain (back, neck trauma, ulcers, etc.) as well as my massive amt. of emotional pain. I am certain that most, if not all, of the tormenting pain I suffer, on a daily basis, if a direct result of my emotional suffering. Please, Nick….please find a way to let me be a part of the live event. It would mean more to me than you could ever know. I just want to be able to do things with my 12 y/o son and 1 year old granddaughter; things that lots of people take for granted….like going to the park and playing outside. Right now, given my current state of health….I don’t even want to wake up and see another day. I never thought I would ever say such a thing, but I am near to giving up! Please help me. God bless you, Nick!

  93. Comment by Ellen N. — September 1, 2010 @ 9:02 pm asked about pain felt as a result of injury somewhere else ( brain injury from stroke affecting foot).

The beauty of tapping is that it goes beyond our mental concepts ( left brain processing) and works on a holistic level, so it wont matter whether you choose to focus the tapping on the foot pain or the brain injury as protocols for either will be effective.

If you think things cannot improve BECAUSE you have a brain injury – then use that ‘concept block’ as part of the protocol, as holding onto such beliefs may block your progress. Also same if you are feeling blame /frustration or any other negative state about your stroke injury.

However the foot is not separate from the injury – it is part of it at the brain level, so there is no reason not to tap on the foot or to think that the foot pain cannot be cleared. This is true for all our injuries / pain – the pain might present at a specific point but it is always connected to the brain which makes the chemicals that we ‘feel’ or become aware of the injury with.

Tapping is a tool that allows access into the brain and to influence its process from a holistic perspective. I think this is why most practitioners don’t both with theory of why it works they get results just by doing it. Tapping enhances -not interferes with- the natural ‘healing’ process, which is instigated always from the brain in a holistic way.

The important thing is not to get bogged down doing the tapping “Right Way” but to do it with the Right Intention. In this way the processing in the brain will be freed to do what it does naturally. It is our limited thinking that interferes with this process and Tapping is a tool which neatly sidesteps our knowledge limitations. This is also why Tapping can never harm but will ‘work’ to the level that we can let go/be open to. Potential is always unfolding naturally if we care to get our negatives out of its way.

I love Tapping because it directly reminds me to be in awe of my body/brain ;)

  96. Even after writing three books on EFT and practicing holistic and energy healing for almost two decades, there are times when I don’t believe that EFT will help. I remember a time I was riding home from doing a presentation on EFT with my husband Phillip and my neck was hurting. He suggested EFT and I remember saying “that’ll never work!”

I did it anyway, and within just a few minutes my neck pain was gone. The point of this humbling story is that sometimes the biggest barrier is just doing it!

I am so glad to have found EFT it is empowering to know there is a technique that I can use in the privacy of my own home which will bring me peace, comfort and accelerate my healing.

    Thank you!

  100. This is such important information and a powerful use of the emotional freedom technique. I work with people all the time who have had injuries in the past and have been unaware of how it affects their fitness endeavours to this day. The loss of trust in the body is a big part of it, and there are so many awesome messages to be received from the body. I got some extra healing benefits for my own path and some new insights of my own listening to this recording. Very valuable! thanks you , Matthew

  103. Thanks so much for the physical pain interview! If it’s not too late, I would love to participate in some kind of intensive EFT pain-clearing event. I have had chronic non-stop head pain for over 10 years, starting around age 16. I have tried everything, across the spectrum, with no significant relief. I feel hopeful about the prospect of EFT helping me with this, especially in the company of EFT pain experts. Let me know if there is any chance of this, and if not, thanks again for sharing the knowledge. : ) Brandi

  104. nick I am interested in your 3-4 days tapping for pain. I have a lower back injury and was told by doctors there is nothing they can do. I started tapping recently and it has helped. if you can help me move further along with actual and physical help maybe I will not end up in a wheelchair as predicted by my doctors.
