Social Media Manager

Our small and growing company whose mission is to help people lead happier and healthier lives through Tapping is looking for an experienced remote Social Media Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of our social media pages and profile presence, including but not limited to: developing and executing on a growth strategy, creating and posting content while utilizing a content calendar, engaging with the community via comments/DMs, and reporting on key metrics. Core platforms to manage are Facebook Pages and Instagram. You will work within our content marketing team and will be given a lot of freedom in a positive environment to take your ideas and run with them and will have opportunities to explore additional channels building from the ground up such as on Linkedin, Pinterest, YouTube, and more while working closely and being supported by the Marketing and Content team.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience in writing engaging copy for social media posts
  • Excellent communication skills with online communities on social networks
  • A proven track record of creating large scale growth on Facebook and/or Instagram
  • An eye for design and creating engaging images that move people emotionally
  • An interest in Tapping and the personal development field at large
  • Experience creating and implementing social media strategies with clear goals and success metrics
  • Confident in working independently and willing to experiment to find what works best
  • Process mindset to build things that are scalable through workflow and process documentation
  • Understand and use best practices to develop KPI reporting for social media growth
  • Love being in the trenches of the day to day as well as big picture planning
  • Experience working with content management tools to schedule social media

Exceptional Candidates will:

  • Have experience growing Facebook pages that are already above 1M+
  • Proven track record of developing and executing on influencer marketing
  • Great copywriting skills for writing personal development related posts

    • Optional: Want to make yourself stand out? Write 1 to 3 Instagram posts that you feel could be posted to one of our Instagram accounts. If you have design experience, include images.
