The Pressure of Dieting – A Tapping Video

If you’ve ever looked at a piece of food and thought, “I shouldn’t eat that,” even when you wanted to, then you know the stress and pressure that comes with choosing what foods to eat and what not to eat in your diet.

For most people, trying to maintain a healthy diet is a constant struggle that brings with it a lot of every day pressure.

My sister Jessica recorded a great video where she shares how Tapping can help you with the stress and pressure around eating a healthy diet, whether it be for shedding pounds, maintaining a healthy weight, or just for overall health.

In the video, she also has a great Tapping sequence where you can tap along, to help you with any pressure you may be dealing with around food and dieting. I think that after tapping with her, you’ll feel a little more relaxed. 🙂

    My aha moment was when I walked by a package of chocolate muffins and chocolate cookies and had absolutely no interest in them. I didn’t feel deprived, I just didn’t want them.. A first for me. I have been craving broccoli and apples, and I haven’t touched the ice cream in the freezer. Not because I can’t but because I don’t care about it. Incredible! Thank you for your book, your videos, and your encouragement.

    Thanks Jessica, this was perfect to kickstart my daily tapping. I have your book on kindle but will be purchasing the actual book as it will be easier to access points and go quickly to tapping suggestions.

    Interestingly I have been hesitant to start this routine and have found so many excuses over the past two weeks since having the book not to start. In fact I can’t remember why I stopped tapping. I discovered you just before the first summit but had been exposed to TFT before that. Looking back to why I stopped and why I am hesitant to commence this journey has given me so many issues to tap on.

    Thanks to you and Nick for getting to the basics of EFT out there and making it so easy.

    I have the audiobook (through audible) and am on my third listening!! I have decided to get the actual book so I can more easily stop, highlight, take notes, etc. I usually listen when I’m commuting a 5 km walk from my job to home. Not the easiest time to take notes!

    I’ve loved this so much. I recently took a masters level exam and I started to panic as I didn’t know the answers to the first 10 questions. I recognized the panic for what it was and I silently imagined myself tapping and walking through the implications of if I failed. I was calm within 2 minutes and in the end I scored 97%! Without your book, I am not sure I would have recovered from that initial panic. I am so grateful.

    One thing that would be amazing though is if you offered a cd/mp3 of the tapping scripts. I like to use them as a warm up and then I tap away specifically. I just find it really helpful at getting started. Plus sometimes I don’t realize I feel something until I hear it in one of your scripts.

    Please offer this. People would totally buy it. Or at least I would 🙂

    I am surprised by what comes up during the tapping sessions. Tears well up, feel tight in my throat and chest and then by the time we come to the final round of tapping my anxiety and stress has subsided. Amazing. This book is next on my “To buy” list.     Dear Jessica,

    I bought your book and it’s the best thing I could do to help myself.

    Now I do finally understand what I did to myself what started when I was a child and was going on my entire life. I release now that the people who frustrated me all the time with telling me that I did things not good enough, just were the mirror from what is living within me. And that I had to learn tot love myself.

    Now I release that and I started to love and respect myself.

    I just finished reading your book. My aha moment was realizing that I was challenging my husband to love me even when I am fat. I was thin when he met me, and I was testing his love.
    I knew I could let this go, as I have so many experiences with this lovely man as proof of his love, no matter what.
    Before tapping, I did not realize the extent of what I was feeling. Thank you for your wonderful insights and approach to loving who we are and loving life. The pressure is now off, and I feel joy and expectation as I begin this journey.

    Food was how I survived my childhood. Food gave me the feelings of being loved that I did not receive from my parents, siblings, grandparents, church, school. or other extended family.

    Hi
    I just followed your tapping sequence on so called ‘dieting’

    Just want to express my whole body had a sensation of ‘relief’

    Relief that it wasn’t going to be tied to a diet but more a lifestyle
    of eating according to need. There are times to eat more times to
    eat less times to rest from eating.
    Definitely going to buy your book. The tapping has just given me
    a body ‘voice’ thats the best way I can describe it.

    This was a brilliant tapping session for me. My aha moment was right at the beginning… “I Love and Accept Myself”. This reduced me to tears and I realised that while my eating habits are not fantastic, I have a bigger issue with loving and accepting myself.

    I suffer with depression and anxiety, so wondering if these need to be worked on first before tackling the weight, I would think they are connected, bit of a vicious circle cos of the anxiety etc I eat then get depressed about my weight, so what to tap on first is my question. I’m looking forward to receiving the book!

    Thanks Jessica! I have been trying to give up sugar but I most definitely have emotional and physical ties to it. I didn’t even think of EFT to help clear it. Yet, I intuitively know this book will be the perfect tool to work with. Namaste.

    Jessica, Thank you for this. I’ve never tapped before but did it last night–wasn’t particularly hungry but the secondary benefit was a great night sleep. 8 Hrs!!!! Usually 4-5. I just tapped again and feeling great. I can’t wait to get your book and am wondering if you’re going to have a CD to go along with it?

    Jessica, I cannot get the same out of a book as I do with your tapping videos. Will you put your book on audio book with a video dvd of the tapping routines.
    I would be sooo grateful. I am not a learner from reading.

    This video alone took so much of my stress away. As I have yo yoed diet to diet to binging to failure after failure for 40 years, I just need to rid myself of the destructive beliefs that it doesn’t matter, I can’t do it anyway!

    hi,
    i did all the tapping that i heard. but sometimes you spok softer so i didn.t hear it all, even with my speaker all the way up.
    but what i did i followed the tapping and felt good while doing it.

    I ordered your book from Amazon, and I’m reading Nick’s book now.
    I have struggled with weight my entire life—and I’m going to turn 66 on Mother’s Day.
    When I do tapping (as I’ve been trying with other issues), I feel calm and centered afterward, as if I’ve turned a switch inside to a better place.
    I am hoping to learn more and have another tool I can use to help me release the pressure of holding on to excess weight—of all kinds.physical, emotional, spiritual.

    I’ve never really been the weight problem guy and even though I’m middle aged and have that little dangerous layer of fat on my belly, I felt compelled to tap along with you Jessica. What a great effort you’ve made and you must know it that you are very much appreciated for you.

    Thank you so much for this visual help, as well as all of the good things in it.
    I know I stress eat, because my cat actually went straight to his food bowl after a stressful event this week. They mirror us in a lot of daily ways, like children.
    Anyway, my health has been suffering a lot and I have spending a lot of time piling on more should and shouldn’ts until I was just ready to throw my hands in the air.
    This video ( I need visual help ) brought me peace and stability. It is the obvious that escapes me and the simplicity of this combined with your calm presentation made a big difference.

    That weight loss tapping video you just did took me from stress city to calm quiet joy and peace. I am not even over weight but being thinner than thin was drummed into me when I was very young. Nothing else mattered so it stays with me.

    How can I get that video forever? I do have the amazing Tapping Book which I love too, however for the weight loss, I need this video. You and Nick are very talented and skilled communicators. You ooze confidence and honesty and integrity: what a team.

    That was such a wonderful tapping session. I’m so looking forward to getting your book once it’s released into the world, and here in England!

    I immediately did the tapping session again with you but this time I directed the feelings your words provoked not just about eating but as it encompasses my whole outlook on life and how I feel about myself in general.
    I think that if this is how we think about food then it is most likely true that this is how we feel about our lives as a whole.
    So by transforming the way we think about food by tapping and using your book we could also transform our view of ourselves in general and change the quality of our whole life experience for the better. Everything is connected.

    I had never heard of Tapping before the 6th Tapping Summit 2014 and I went with my gut feeling to buy the whole package and what a remarkable and life changing decision it proved to be. I work with it every day, there is so much amazing information and practical applications of that information.
    The guided tapping sessions are so transformational.
