“You can’t do big things if you’re distracted by small things.”
I saw this quote the other day, and it really resonated with me.
What does it bring up for you? Is your life full of too many ‘small’ things that crowd out what you really, really want?
We’ve never had so many ‘small’ things in our lives as we do now. Social media, mobile phones, emails, constant beeping & pinging, and who knows what else!
Just a bunch of little things that can easily rob us of our future – of the big things we want to accomplish, create, and enjoy fully.
So if part of you today is thinking, “It’s time to focus. It’s time to get this thing DONE!” then I have a resource that might just help.
It’s a free Tapping Meditation called “Clearing Distractions and Creating Focus”.
Now, here’s the tricky part about this meditation – you’ve got to take a second to focus, and actually use it for it to work!
But if you take the short 12 minutes to do it, you’ll soon discover that your energy and focus will be laser-like.
If you find it useful, make a habit of using it quickly before you start your workday or any big project.
Used cumulatively, this practice will give you EXPONENTIAL results!
It’s my gift to you today. I know how frustrating it is to not be able to focus, and I just can’t wait to see the incredible things you bring into the world when you do!
And I’ve made it available for you to download and keep, so you can have it on your phone or iPod when you need it most.
(I’ve also included the transcript if you’d rather read and tap along.)
And please do let me know your experience of this meditation.
If you’re new to Tapping, and realize that NOW is the best time to get started, (and focus on creating magic in the world) you can learn the basics in minutes here.
AND… my NY Times bestselling book, “The Tapping Solution” helps you clear out all that mental clutter so you can effortlessly focus. If you haven’t yet, you can pick up your copy here.
Until next time…
Keep Tapping!
Nick Ortner

You’re welcome, Carol. It feels good to be focused. 🙂
Thank you for this one (and all others :). Just wanted to make a little comment on the speed of the phrases moving through the points … I couldn’t repeat them and feel them as you moved to the next phrase … missed some of them and felt a bit rushed and a bit more overwhelmed trying to keep up :). Not a criticism, just feedback …..
Thank you! Nick, focus is what I need most right now, and your Meditation Clearance was very helpful.
So glad to hear it, Inge. 😀
Thanks Nick. I would appreciate a slight pause as you say the statements, as this gives one the time to insert their own words to add to yours, before going to the next point/phrase. As always, you are awesome!
🙂
thank you, Nick, as always… so generous and efficient on your part!!!
you’re GREAT!
Thanks, Gil! 😀
I had a hard time to just focus on one thing I need to get done. I accepted that I am feeling overwhelmed today and that it is okay to rest because I am feeling exhausted.
Excellent!
quieting my mind down to focus on getting organized not overwhelmed

Tapping through this meditation gave me relief and a sense of direction in what to focus on today. I have a health issue with lots of pain, but despite that distraction, I find tapping to bring me peace and contentment. Thanks.

That’s wonderful, Ailene. 🙂
I didn’t think I was especially stressed and overwhelmed before doing that tapping exercise. However, as I followed through and completed it I felt so relaxed and in a much more calm place. Tapping really does change my energy to a calm, peaceful place.
Thank you for giving this gift.
That’s a great point, Carol. Sometimes we get so used to our condition, that we don’t even realize how much we can still clear out to gain more peace. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Wow started to yawn strongly on every point!
Strong release I think
Thank you
Indeed, O-m! Yawning is a good sign that released energy is moving through your body. 🙂
