From Panic to Peace – A Tapping Meditation

Written by: Nick Ortner

It wasn’t until I began Tapping that I began to really “get” the value of mindful awareness of my experiences.

With Tapping, this tool can quickly transform my physiology, my state of mind, and my emotional experience of the day that I may, or may not have, planned. (You know how that goes right? Especially if you have young kids) 😉

As with so many things, awareness is a skill, and to get good at it, we have to practice. Even now I don’t always do that perfectly, but I’ve practiced enough to recognize when things may have gotten off track.

Today, to help you practice finding some more calm in your life, I’ve pulled a really short Tapping Meditation from Day 1 (Chapter 1) of my audiobook, “The Tapping Solution for Manifesting Your Greatest Self“, for you to tap along with.

It’s just 6 minutes long and is great for anxiety, overwhelm, fear, and other stress. Give it a try and see how you feel afterwards!

Day 1: From Panic to Peace Tapping Meditation

Until next time…

Keep Tapping!

Chris Evans, above, is definitely making sense. And yes, his minor ailments are magnified by his concern about his chronic illness. What I do is tap on the small issues, eliminate them, then get back to the larger issue. Sometimes one has to tap for an hour just to keep everything under control. But, the thing is, the chronic issue can be eased, and it is my hope; cured with the help of tapping, mediation, good diet and Louise Hay’s book. Energy healing is another area I am investigating. If this post is inappropriate, take it down. I just thought it might help mr. Evans to know there are others of us tapping on chronic issues. Tapping is a blessing. Don’t stop!

My apologies, it is day one in the book. Thank you for the audio. I find it easier than reading the scripts. Will you be doing the rest of the 21 days?

    • Nick Ortner says:

No problem, Marian. We won’t be doing all of the days, but we may feature certain chapters from time to time. 🙂

    Day one of what?

  4. Laurie says:

Suffering from anxiety and would like to find your DVD for myself, where might I find such? I live in Canada,Edmonton,Alberta. Am interested in the method. Thank you.

    • Nick Ortner says:

I lost my husband of 41 years to glioblastoma in September 2018 after a 6 month battle. Do you have any specific tapping exercises for grief and loss?

  6. Diana Barry says:

I’ve been under an extreme amount of stress and anxiety for some weeks now. This morning I did this tapping meditation (I’d done it a week or so ago and it helped) three times in a row. First time my “number” was 9. After the first tapping, number was 6-7, after third time number was 5. My heart is filled with gratitude Nick, for this wonderful gift; thank you ever so much. I now feel I can get through the day. Many blessings!

  7. irene says:

I was able to put this panic bag aside (for the moment). I can breathe better. Thank you!

  8. Ledy says:

Felt pressure relieved half way through the tapping. By the end I was feeling great! Thank you!!

  9. judy says:

I feel less stressed and more confident. It always works for me but sometimes I forget to use the technique. Should really start may day with it.

    • Nick Ortner says:

That’s great, Judy! Creating a morning tapping routine is a wonderful way to begin the day in the morning. It’s also great at night too to release all the stress of the day. 🙂

  10. Connie says:

I do enjoy tapping! It is more interactive than just having to sit quiet to meditate.
Curious why the karate chop points are not included throughout the whole tapping process? Each process starts with the karate chop points but not continued with. I still use it throughout my own tapping.

    • Nick Ortner says:

Great question, Connie! The karate chop point (or the side of the hand) is one of the places on the body where there is a large concentration of meridian endpoints. So using that for the setup statements is like “charging” your energetic system. The other points are more specific to other main areas of the body. For example, under the eye point directly ties to the stomach area. 🙂

      • Connie says:

Thank you for the explanation. I suggest your technique often and just know by how many others suggest tapping…you are reaching many people with much beneficial, appreciated results.

  11. Melinda says:

Glad I saved this tapping meditation! My daughter was supposed to come home from the hospital today – had shortness of breath but all tests, heart, new kidney, etc. were nornal but she does have pneumonia. but at 5 am this morning her heart rate went to 170!!! Again, all tests normal. REALLY SCARY. But this will keep her in the hospital longer to make sure she is OK. AGAIN, THANKS NICK FOR THIS MEDITATION – really needed it tonight. Love You, Melinda

  12. Beverly says:

Wow!! Fastest relief ever!! I went from an 8 to 3 or 4. I could even visualize solutions to some of my problems while I was tapping. Such a wonderful way to start my day! Thank you, Nick!!!

  13. Robin says:

    More relaxed!

  14. Lois Baker-Wright says:

This tapping technique is quick and easy to do. This is especially helpful right now with living near Santa Rosa. The last six days have felt surreal with so much angst in the air. As I was doing the tapping I could immediately feel my tension ease

  15. Dolly says:

First time tapping and it feels good!
    Thank you !
    Dolly

  16. Shirley says:

I thought I was dealing with one thing and realized that a half dozen issues were circling and all weighing me down.
Maybe just today I can find better balance. Thank you for the instruction!

  17. cynthia says:

    Did feel more peaceful, thanks.

  18. pat says:

just what i needed after coming to a realisation that a friend I amabout to have stay for several weeks is a chronic complainer who does nothing to help herself. I was feeling stressed about speaking to her about it. Now I feel I can leave it to the Universe. Thank you for yet another release 🙂
