How Tapping Rewires the Brain…

Some of what you’ll learn about in this video is exactly why our brains are wired to think negatively and have fears that hold us back. In fact, on average, a person has 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day and 80% of those thoughts are negative and 95% are repetitive.

While most people beat themselves up for thinking negatively, the reality is that our brains are wired to think negatively for a very specific reason, until you start to rewire them differently.

And you’ll learn in this video what the science and research is showing that Tapping is doing to rewire the brain, and how you can start using it right away.

    Lockdown triggered underlying issue that I have had under control for many years.
    I am 61 years old, blessed with a beautiful wife and two awesome children. My daughter has epilepsy and this has been a major cause of anxiety for me. I pray on a daily basis for her healing. I also have this fear that something awefull could happen to my wife or children.
    However I have managed this to some degree.
    I also have another issue that really gives me anxiety. I have thoughts that go through my head that I really don’t want to think about and I believe these became embedded at an early age when the easiest way to get a child to be obedient was to say that ” If you don’t do this or if you do that God will Punish you. So there are many issues here. However I was fortunate enough that I decided to seek help in my early twenties and for many years felt blessed and content with excitement and dreams and goals.
    I will not go into all the detail as I think you can get the jist.
    When the news of Covid hit and lockdown came into effect I was lying in my bed feeling anxious and millions of negative thoughts came to mind. An instant depression and fear came over me releasing millions of scenarios.
    What if I go insane and harm someone?
    What if I become institutionalized?
    IS it not better to die?
    Whats the use of living” This is all so futile? Whats it all about? Why is it so easy to be told that Satan can torment a person , but so difficult to get the help of our Lord Jesus?
    I went to a GP who said prescribed some tablets to get me to try and relax and suggested that the lockown has triggered this and that I will be fine, however the depression and apathy /numbness that has overcome me has been a nightmare.
    many Years ago I bought the CD set to the Tapping solution and thought that its ok but was not anything life changing. A few nights ago I went online and searched tapping. I did a round of tapping and this really lowered my anxiety , from a 10 to a 5.
    Please suggest some links to tapping for anxiety and depression that I can go to as well as the name of a qualified tapping practicioner in Johannesburg South Africa whom I can reach out to.

      Hi Mario! I’m so glad to hear that you gave Tapping a try again and that it has been so effective for you. I think the lockdown has triggered lots of fears and emotions for lots of people, so you aren’t alone. The first resource for addressing anxiety that I’d recommend is our Tapping Solution App. It’s free to download and there is an entire section of free tapping meditations in there for coronavirus stress & anxiety relief. I’d also recommend just using the search bar on our page to look up resources for anxiety on our site. There are too many to list out, but that will bring up lots of posts, audios, and videos.     Hi Nick, thank you for your quick response. I am very interested in the ” tapping method”, but don’t actually grasp the whole concept yet….. I still cannot find any of your video’s …blogs…etc, that explains the different areas of the body that are affected by tapping ( hence my previous question: re: under the arm). Sorry, but still work with the whole concept but I have been tapping during the day at work, and when I am driving to work..much to my surprise …bizarre…so something somewhere is working for me…Just like to know a little bit more of each tapping movement…Thanks

    Hi Nick…Thanks for the book offer, I love reading books, but it is very expensive to have it shipped to Ontario, Canada.
    I have a question: I don’t the whole concept of tapping but I am getting there, but I do wonder what the purpose of tapping under your arm does. I have searched and searched to no avail in having this question answered….Thank you….here’s to tapping…

      Hi Kathleen! Great question. All of the tapping points I use hit the major endpoints of meridians around the body. The “under the arm” point is also called the “spleen meridian” which tapping on sends energy signals to the spleen area of the body. Each tapping point in the sequence I use goes to a specific area of the body, so when going through the sequence, the whole body is covered. 🙂
