  3. Pattie Hage says:

I am absolutely sure that my emotions and thoughts effect my health. I have just started working on tapping and getting over a divorce and being overweight. When I am in a great mood, that is how my body feels. I just received my book The Tapping Solution for Weight Control. Can’t wait to finish it.

    Thank you SO much.

  4. Yes! We are more than our bodies, we are consciousness! says:

Yes! Our bodies are a manifestation of our consciousness. We can listen, accept with compassion and let them shift into being held in love. The outer is temporary, not a fixed reality. The consciousness has many levels more subtle than the outer. This we can access within ourselves.

  5. Lynne Wright says:

Yes interesting do believe ithoughts how body heals it impacts recovery. Positive important

  6. Sally says:

Yes I do and have for past 40 plus years. I’m 74 and am living my beliefs although no one in my family and friend circle believes as I do. Loved the interview and tapping has increased my life literally.

  7. Cecilia says:

Absolutely, I believe we have the power to heal our selves.
I do believe our emotions & thoughts (ego) impact our health. I, at 78 years old seem to be in really good physical health. It is nice to hear MS Rankin’s beliefs……………based on her research. I wish it would be easier to find practitioners who believe as she does. Thanks for the video. I fully intend to purchase her book. Where is it available?

  8. Pam says:

Yes, totally believe. Thank you so much for everything you’re doing to build awareness. Shift is definitely happening. Holding hope and prayers for 51% +.

  9. Tish says:

I absolutely believe that we can heal ourselves! Even the ancients believed in this.

  10. Karen says:

Yes I do believe that your body can heal itself. I am a breast cancer survivor and while going through treatment I had a. On ersation with my cancer and politely asked it to leave. The more I research this topic the more I am convinced that we have the capability to heal or help heal our bodies. Thank you for your research! All will be well.

  11. Adria says:

I am 64. When I was 45 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I immediately set up all the medical protocol but knew instinctively that was not enough. I looked into the mirror and had a conversation with myself: you cannot spend a lifetime having daily negative self talk without it manifesting in you body some how. It was a lightening bolt moment. I began to meditate every day. The self talk changed to only the most positive. I forgave myself and others so I could move on and live fully. The mind/body/spirit are all connected. I am filled with gratitude for this life – healthy.

  12. Joyce Martel says:

I do believe that our bodies can heal themselves. How can I start this rices?

  13. Sharon Cramer says:

I am a firm believer that emotions and thoughts impact your health. When I have had physical problems, I noticed that I usually was worried or concerned about something. Recently, I sprained my arm and the person who took the ex ray said I had a neck fracture. Several days went by before I saw an orthopedic doctor. He said it was the neck of the humors bone that was fractured.
During that wait time, I was feeling pain and discomfort also in my actual neck. After explaining and showing me the fracture on an ex ray, all of the symptoms in my actual neck were gone. This fear also caused me to become extremely fatigued and tired. Believe this was associated with the fear of my actual neck being fractured.

I have been tapping on many health issues related mental thinking regarding various situations we encounter in our daily lives.

Thoroughly enjoyed the interview and so glad that current doctors are open to tapping and the
power of our minds. The mind power is also mentioned in many parts of scripture.

  14. Lori says:

I do believe we already have the flame within us—the GPS —-to guide us in healing our own bodies. Be positive —love yourself—stay In motion.
Thank you for sharing this wonderfully informative interview. Loved it.

  15. Francine Kohn says:

I experienced a life-threatening experience of paralysis, from the ribs down, and blindness where the diagnosis was terminal, neuro myletis optica. The doctors and physical therapists assured me it somehow I survived, I would never walk. I told them they did not know who they were talking to. “Put me in physical therapy and I’ll do the rest.” I have helped others heal themselves from blindness and death. I was confident I with Universal Energy overcome my situation.

Using guided meditation, visualization, . I reversed the paaralysis and blindness with the wonderful work of the physical therapists. I became a walking miracle. I walked 6 weeks later

I was further told that in no event would I live past 5 years. I am now in my sixth year. I do have some residual effects that I continue to work on. You can make a real difference by working with the doctors AND complementary techniques!

  16. Regina says:

I absolutely 100% believe this is true. Thank God there are people like you all who have devoted your lives to sharing your knowledge with all of us. What a difference your making in so many lives….I can’t thank you enough!!!!

  17. Sue S. says:

Absolutely my emotions impact my health. That’s why I tap, to clear away the emotions that block healing in the body and mind. I am healing several issues in the body and my thoughts are critical in the healing process. Thank you for the interview that supports this premise.

  18. Kathy says:

I am very aware of my body and health, but depression seems to keep me from utilizing the EFT Tapping. How can I make myself do it so that I can benefit from it?

  19. Le gloanec says:

I’m with you but I have been doing it before you were born,as well as my family, never use of drugs is the secret

  20. Daniela says:

I´m sure that emotions and stress related thoughts are at the core of anybody´s health. I´m a physician myself (in Brazil) and all these thecniques and non tradicional aproacch seems to me as the solution for our fail health care system, at individual and global levels.

  21. Cornelia says:

Thanks so much Jessica for this interview and Thanks Dr. Rankin for writing and sharing your knowledge! I firmly belief that your body can heal itsellf ! I am really grateful I learned about EFT years ago in order to help my body heal and getting emotional traumas out of the way, so I can live a truly awesome life. Looking forward to reading the book!
    Thanks everyone
    Blessings

  22. Corazon says:

    YES!!!, YES!!! and YES!!!

  23. Yaron Butterfield says:

Your sites the tapping solution yet you said nothing about tapping or what it is in the video!

    • Nick Ortner says:

Hi Yaron. We are sorry for any confusion. We do focus on tapping but, on occasion, we have interviews or other offerings on different aspects of stress relief, healing and other related topics. Here is the link to find out more about tapping and how to tap on our website: https://www.thetappingsolution.com/.

  24. Name (required) says:

Yes, i do! I only wish I could find these doctors to work with. If you have insurance & these doctors are not participating in it, then to pay them out of pocket and pay your orher bills, becomes impossible. I wish the list included doctors who were affordable. Do any have a sliding scale? Also would love to work with an EFT practitioner re work because can’t get the two to go together. To afford an EFT practitioner and get a job that pays well seems like a catch 22. Are there any EFT practitioners that have a sliding scale?

  25. Elaine Walsh says:

I firmly believe that what you put into your mouth, and what you say also think, can certainly affect your health. Hope their is a doctor in Australia has Doctor Lissa Rankin knowledge. I’m learning to use EFT.

  26. Jane Rose says:

Well, this seems to say it all. I have been tapping steadily for a few weeks and after years of psychotherapy and deeper personal understanding, which has been wonderful, nothing release my deep feelings like tapping. There is such fluidity in the process and I cry during almost every session. This form of stress relief is so accessible and makes me feel so connected to my body. I think for years my mind became my default mechanism. There is so much energy stored up in my body. Inkeepmfeeling better as negative programming is released.

Dr. Rankin’s approach places power back in the individual’s own hands and makes me realize my body is an advocate, not an enemy. A doctor serves as an adjunct to self support and healing. I am 68 and have many doctors. My favorites are those who work with me, listen to me and empower me to make deep personal changes I look forward to reading Doctor Rankin’s book. Thanks for this video!!!

  27. Karol says:

As a Homeopath I know that the mind always has to heal first, from the head down and from the inside out. Is the healing pathways in the bodies. I am dealing with my own health problems right now that are for the most part stress related. I am so glad to see that some doctors are finally getting on board with these ideas that are not new, but well practiced throughout the world. In different alternative medicines and cultures. Your body can heal itself that is the way it is designed, belief and your thoughts are very powerful. Trying to control them is sometimes not so easy it takes some practice but little by little much can be achieved. It takes time, believe and you will achieve.

  28. Gail Hill says:

I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 1998. After nearly two years of injecting one of the three drugs into myself daily, I decided I could beat this disease by telling myself, “I don’t have this!”

Today, nearly 17 years later,, I really don’t have much in the way of symptoms. I’m walking fine, and my doctor is now telling me that the legions in my brain are reducing and even disappearing!! All because I used the daily mantra, “I don’t have this disease. I am healthy and in control of my own body!”

I’m looking forward to reading your book, Mind Over Medicine. Thank you for writing it and sharing it with the world!!

    God bless,

    Gail Hill

  29. Ginny Lane says:

YES!!! I absolutely do believe that I can heal myself. Tapping has been an incredible tool for me and my beliefs that “I do not get sick” has prevailed for most of my life. the only serious illness I had was when I was 8 when I had rheumatic fever. I am now 67 and doctors are always amazed that I take no meds at all; and have no health issues. HOW BLESSED AM I??? I think the reason is my basic belief that we create are own illnesses (unfortunately most do not know/or refuse to take responsibility for this). We can do ALOT for ourselves if we take back our innate power!

  30. Angela kent says:

I have been aware for quite a long time that certain emotions cause a physical feeling in my body. I mean emotions like disappointment, embarrassment etc.that produce something like a burning feeling. It’s also true that positive emotions are also felt which is usually a fizzing feeling. It is obviously the stress hormones or happy ‘hormone’ which is responsible for this. But if our bodies are coping with this influx of hormones on a regular basis then it seems likely that there will be a negative impact from this. Also what happens to these hormonesi? Do they ever get out of our system? Or are they stuck there unless we use every medicine to release them?
I have proved to myself over the last few years that with EFT I can offset certain ailments. A bee sting and the common cold are two such instances. With larger, health issues I have a problem with keeping up the motivation if I feel it is going to take time. But yes, I’m all for avoiding doctors and hospitals and medication unless it is absolutely necessary.. I prefer to be in control.

  31. eletheah says:

I am now 67 years old. i first learned ,as a child that i had the ability to heal myself…..and did so…..i have only had one “cold” in my entire life. that’s it for ANY illness….if i felt something “coming on” I used my mind to “heal” or neutralize it. however as life became more and more stress full as a full time real estate broker and general contractor building homes ….and remodeling homes and aquiring wealth and learning to be a good steward of it, and wending my way through very difficult relationships, my health took a back seat. Still incredibly healthy, no problems until a year ago when my body simply said”enough”.. for the last year i have been back on the road to “healthy everything”. Tapping has been a HUGE part of my recovery with astounding, sometimes unbelievable results. I am thrilled to see Lissa out there making a differance and I am once again inspired to continue on finding my way through this “blessing in disguise”.Entering the
“medical conveyor belt system” was terrifying and I basically had to save my own life. THANK YOU to Nick,Jessica Lissa and all those who are standing up, speaking up and encouraging people to take back their inate healing abilities. Eletheah

  32. Janet says:

absolutely, we go through life following belief systems that we develop at a very young age continuously attracting things, events, people etc to validate our belief, if we believe it to be true it has to be true, every time something comes up in our life that may challenge our beliefs we over react and this takes over our thoughts, emotions, health etc this creates havic within our bodies, we seem to be constantly in fight or flight mode, which in turn causes blockages in our energy systems creating disease and discomfort.

  33. Absolutely says:

Yes. I’ve been told to religiously take my maintenance med for hypertension but i did change my way of thinking by being positive and tried to be mindful of my negative emotions. A total change of mindset and emotions and have proven that I have the power to heal myself as the scripture says there is power when you have Jesus and when we center our lives in Hiim.

  34. Charlotte Franzen Ciaraldi says:

I do believe I have the power to heal and believe in Integrative medicine. I am 72 and have had several serious surgeries, cancers and each time I have sought out supportive health care to help me use my whole heath approach for a positive outcome. I was 46 when diagnosed with a stage 3 breast cancer just after I laid off at work and my mother’s death in Ohio. I was a single mother of two daughters and the stress was usually quite high working as an architectural designer in Vermont where almost every 3 year cycle ended in job changes due to construction economy. I was treated at University Medical Center in Burlington, now called Mary Fletcher and combined natural health care that was available through hospital and also close by Middlebury, Vt. massage and herbal remedies. I had incredible care, support and as an artist became active in ground roots organization to get a registry started for research. My art when to the capital at the Rotunda for an exhibit which traveled and is in Virginia Soffa’s book, The Journey Beyond Breast Cancer. I continue to pray for our medical physicians to implement more than pharmaceutical drugs tin their prescriptions and provide whole health care to patients. Thank you both for your video and all the work you are that is providing and impacting our lives. It is an honor to see you both and feel your positive energy. Thank you, Charlotte Franzen Ciaraldi

  35. Susan Christensen says:

I have healed myself of Leaky Gut ( 40 years worth)and excema (50 years of it) and my spouse of 2 so-called immune deficiency diseases. I’m in my 70’s and he’s in his 80’s. I “awoke” one day and said to myself, “l’m not going to take it anymore!” These transformations took me several years and the results have amazed the doctors. We now have a new lease on life and no longer are a drain on others nor on the medical system.
Now, a new issue has entered the picture. Short term memory loss in my husband. Why shouldn’t I find my way through that problem, too, positive thinking must be reinforced by positive, informed, creative action–which, of course, includes a major overhaul of diet.
I notice this video is several years old but I use Tapping on myself now and have learned Reike, also. That’s the reason I ended up seeing it albeit belatedly.

  36. sharyn says:

So glad to hear modern medicine is finally catching up with the old ways. Not to discount drugs and surgeries which save lives, but allowing the body to relax and heal should be our first line of defense. Thanks for all of this.

  37. Jim says:

Fantastic…this is absolutely true for me…35 years ago I learned how to control migraine response and I have been pain free ever since…no drugs, no diet changes and no lifestyle changes…all with my mind.

Dr Lissa is one of the luminaries leading the way toward the end of the dominance of Newtonian Physics in conventional medicine…

I celebrate her and her success.

  38. doris says:

Yes I believe because I have been working on myself for quite a while and I am a lot healthier than I was 15 years ago. I have done Eft many times and it works. It’s a great tool.

  39. John Urban says:

Great stuff, I was told by a doctor that I would have to be on a statin drug for the rest of my life. I threw the prescription away, changed my diet to zero sugar and plenty of healthy fats. I also started meditation exercises. The cholesterol condition went back to normal within six months and my body mass dropped by 30 kg. I then discovered that I had also developed an insulin resistance condition. I tweaked my diet some more but eventually found that it was a gluten and dairy intolerance that had triggered my autoimmune system into action against my own body. I have now been three weeks off gluten and dairy and I know that I am back on the road to full health.

  40. Carrie says:

Absolutely loved this video! I have always believed we can heal ourselves, I’m on board in shifting in consciousness

  41. Ann Murdoch says:

I believe that emotions not only affect me but also those around me.
I believe health or illness begins in the mind. We are human and are emotional beings
and need to learn how to direct our guide our emotions, feelings thoughts and actions
everyday. I am thankful for the tools I have learned to help to myself and others as we go through this journey we call life.

  42. Mary says:

I was told by my arthritis doctor that I would never get off the 3 medicines I was taking for arthritis. I am happy to report that I am off 2, and minimally taking the third. It was NOT EASY!! I found that the side effects of going off those meds was THE biggest reason people can’t get off them! It took several months each, of taking out tiny time pills and dividing them up into smaller and smaller doses over 2 week periods. The last time I saw my arthritis doc, I handed her the (long) list of side effects I had endured, and told her, “THIS is the reason people can’t get off these drugs! She took the list and copied them down. When she asked me how I did it, I told her reiki, tai chi, and tapping. She was not laughing or smirking–hooray!! Big thanks to Jessica and Nick Ortner.

  43. Mary LaPlante says:

I am 96. After a double hip replacement I was given 3 months to live. I had Nick Ortners tapping
book in the health center. I am going strong. I am interested in Dr. Rankings book and her
theoris. I am learning to use the I pad my son sent me. I still like the feel of a paper book–now
that the brain fog has lifted from the meds they gave me. I definitely believe the mind can you heal
you if you know how. Please keep up the good work! Mary.

  44. Sophia,M.,McConnery says:

Yes they do impact every aspect of your life.Having no income but ODSP/CPP Disability has made me an emotional wreck. There is no money for even the basic things 🙁

  45. Susan says:

Sometimes we cannot, for various reasons, distance ourselves from stressors beyond our control…people who rely on us or situations we cannot immediately walk away from…techniques such as EFT and meditation are a wonderful way to dispel a lot of the stress, even as you swim through it.
Just the act of tapping, or having a session of good guided meditation can bolster a feeling of wellbeing and encouragement…I’m excited to hear about this book and to potentially add to my quiver of tools to use to keep me hopeful and energized…

I also find that many times, the physical problems that I experience at this age (60s) are put in the category “it’s just a part of getting older”, yet all around me there are both much younger people who are giving in to “natural deterioration”, as well as much older people who are filled with vitality and healthy attitudes. I have to believe that we have tremendous input into our own health and well-being, and I’m definitely going to read and learn more!

  46. Cathy says:

I loved your video. I must say, some of the things Lissa pointed out about how powerful our bodies are really moved me. For many years, I have been seeking health from the traditional doctors & have battled most because of what they diagnosed or put me on. When she spoke about how she went from all those pills to barely none, I can relate. I must say that I have been doing tapping for several weeks, since the last summit & have been going through many changes. Our bodies speak to us through different things & we need to listen, but most importantly our doctors need to listen. THANK YOU!!!

  47. Giovanna says:

I loved this video like all the ones I watch , almost weekly from Italy. Thank you so much for the work you are doing! I, absolutely believe that our mind has the most important part in the healing process of our body. If we don’t believe in our own healing power it becomes difficult to overcome physical or mental illnesses. Bye for now! Giovanna

  48. Jacqueline says:

I find myself switching conventional docs every year seeking someone with the right stuff. I can’t stand a doc that has no vision for themselves or me. Thankfully for me, I have my own support system of holistic practitioners who have the foresight of the possible. Attitude is everything.

  49. Dixie says:

Yes, I believe we have the power within us to heal ourselves. I believe we are what we eat ( healthy or not) that we are what we think about ourselves ( smart or dumb) and that we have the power to create our world with our emotions (happy or sad). We are in control of our lives., our environment, our thoughts and our feelings.

  50. Rita says:

I DO believe that our thoughts and emotions impact our health. As a cancer survivor, I went to my 5-year checkup and was ecstatic to get “all clear” results. When I expressed how excited I was to get to the 5-year milestone, my oncologist (who has the bedside manner of a doorknob) said to me, “It’s just a number.” I was thinking, “Excuse me???? Isn’t a person’s attitude an extremely important part of the overall equation of healing?”
