You know, that food that no matter what particular plan or journey you’re on regarding food, it buckles your knees when you think about it or it enters your space.
Is it that creamy Reese’s peanut butter cup? Decadent dark chocolate? Crispy, salty mouth-watering chips? Crunchy and satisfying M&M’s? Stress-relieving ice cream? Fun and festive Twizzlers?
Think about that food for a moment now. Go ahead, wherever, you are, just take 5 seconds and think about that food.
So here’s my guess about what’s happening as you think about.
Your mouth might be salivating a bit – a little Pavlov’s dog action happening. Perhaps you’re starting to crave that food. And perhaps with that craving, if you pause and really FEEL, comes some emotions that aren’t very pleasant.
Oh, there they are again…
Guilt. Shame. Frustration. Anger. Despair.
I WANT that food, but I DON’T. I feel out of control, but I refuse to give it up. I’m TIRED of even caring anymore.
How is it that a FOOD comes with so much baggage? And what is all this baggage doing to your experience of life, your confidence in your body, your physical health?
If there’s part of you that is sick and tired of experiencing these negative emotions around food…
If there’s part of you that says, “ENOUGH of these OLD patterns”, then you might want to explore how Tapping can be extraordinarily powerful to change all this forever.
I’ve pulled out a powerful segment from Jessica’s weight loss webinar for you to watch right now, to help you gain further clarity on what’s really holding you back.
In this section, you’ll go through the “Tapping Tree” process, to uncover elements that may be keeping you stuck that you might not even know about!
And yes, this video will tell the TRUE story of “snarfing twizzlers” 🙂
If you’re tired of hating your body and want to learn how to create body confidence (and lasting weight loss), register for the full webinar with Jessica here.
Until next time,
Keep Tapping!

Thank you Jessica. I liked the imagery of the tree. Similar to a previous comment, I too have been skinny my whole life I am now 70. I am sure there are many of us who are not anorexic but who have trouble gaining weight while eating healthy. and healthy exercise. This is very rarely addressed as I am sure weight gain is more common but your tree presentation was helpful. Thanks. Maybe sometime you could do one just for inability to gain.
Good Morning Jessica ! Just finished listening to your tree exercise on tapping for weight loss. My reason….starting my day with your voice, the way you deliver information,
how it resonates for me….all combined is why i listened….NOT BECAUSE I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT!
In fact…I’ve been noticed in ways that aren’t always flattering, because I’m ‘skinny’ !
I didn’t expect that tapping for weight loss to be relevant for me !!!
And, I just listened….didn’t tap!….BUT almost immediately, identified childhood/adolescent experiences which have become beliefs in my adulthood….which aren’t serving me !
I now know…most definately…what I can/will tap on to remove the blocks that are holding me back.
To summarize….tapping for weight loss…has been useful/relevant for me….and my problem is not weight
gain…in fact, my body has lost weight with unbelievable swiftness….following profound events…also soliciting attention with conflicting messages. NOW, I am beginning to understand for myself, its message !
Jessica, your presentation of The Tree is ultra clear, helpful and effective! Thank you sooo very much. Surprised at my unconscious association but confirmed a heartfelt nod! Looking forward to my new adventure and discoveries. Impressed by the quote about powerlessness.
